Customer Comments – July 28

Here is a quick list of comments or questions that customers submitted from the past couple weeks.

1. Great site, but during check out if you have to edit ship to address and go back, you lose credit card information and gift message, this should not happen.

Your security is very important to us. To keep your information safe, our system is not set up to store any information on the last page of check out. This is especially important when it comes to your credit card number.

2. Shipping time indicated on the final page of my order is a bit lengthy. Indications were that it could take up to six days to process and ship my order. When compared to other online retailers, this is longer than they would normally require to have my order in the mail.

We definitely overestimate the length of time it will take. Six days is the worst case scenario if we had to order a product in for you, but if all of the items on your order are in stock (which they usually are), they leave our warehouse within 24 hours.

3. I have a catalog and wish we could call in the order, but when I did I kept getting a busy signal. Keep working on that.

We are happy to take phone orders. Representatives are available to answer your calls from 8am to 6pm Monday through Friday and 10am to 4pm on Saturday CST. If you are outside of the United States, our toll-free number does not work. In this case, please call 573-443-2565.

4. The cost of the next day was too high.

We do all that we can to keep the cost of shipping as low as possible. We charge the customer only what the carrier charges us for upgraded shipping options. Unfortunately, this can sometimes be very costly depending on how fast you need your package and the distance it must travel.

5. The only part of shopping at your site that is confusing is the difference in the styles and fabrics of the Carhartt pants. I might want to buy a pair, but I have very little idea of what I would actually receive. It may be impossible to correct this, but you ought to know.

We understand how difficult and confusing buying online can be. That is why we made a buying guide to answer these exact questions. We have included information on the different fits, fabrics and features to help you make an educated decision on which products you need. You can find the pants buying guide here: http://dungarees.net/blog/how-to-choose-carhartt-pants/

First time Customer and the CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS OUTSTANDING. SHIPPING WAS FREE IF YOU ORDERED JUST A SMALL AMOUNT AND I RECEIVED MY ORDER WITHIN THREE DAYS AND THE QUALITY OF THE MDSE WAS THE SAME AS A NAME BRAND WALK IN STORE. WE OFTEN TEND TO COMPLAIN WHEN SOMETHING GOES WRONG BUT WHEN ALL GOES RIGHT, WE SAY NOTHING SO I AM TAKING THE TIME AND SAYING THANKS TO YOUR STORE, YOUR PEOPLE AND ESPECIALLY YOUR MANAGEMENT, THEY HAVE GOT “CUSTOMER SERVICE” DOWN PAT AND THE EMPLOYEES ARE TRAINED THE SAME WAY. AGAIN THANKS, EXCELLENT SERVICE IN EVERY AREA AND TOP QUALITY MDSE.

I purchased 4 pair of b237 several months ago. I contacted Customer Service and never received no response since. Two pair of the jeans ripped along a line parallel to the rear pocket. The rip was from the beltline and down and along the pocket and past the bottom of the pocket. the third pair after approximately 12 – 15 uses develop a white blemish lone perpendicular to the zipper and extended about 1 1/4″. Several washings later a hole developed on the outside of the fabric. The fourth pair lies in the corner never to be worn. I am out $150.00 and wore the jeans approximately 25 times. I am really disappointed in Carhartt and Dungarees.net for ignoring the issue. Before that I always wore the B17 model. They were notorious about developing holes at the corner of the rear pockets and then ripping along a line perpendicular to the zipper line. I have worn these jeans for over twenty years and can no longer support a product that lacks any type of QC.

Hey Ronald, I’m showing we emailed you on 6/6/14 to see if you had pics, which really helps us to get the process started with Carhartt. I will have someone reach back out to you, but if you do have pics, please go ahead and send to info (a) dungarees.net.
