Liked the lighter weight of the coat.
The weight of the coat which doesn't have that bulky feeling out in the cold and the fact that it has two inside pockets for sunglasses, pens, pencils, cell phones, note books that will be shielded in the cold weather.

Carhart Shirt Jac - good but not great
I like my Shirt Jac however it could stand improvment. The jacket is light enough to be worn where a sweatshirt woudl be appropriate, has nice snaps in the front and breast pockets. Like most all Carhartt gear, it is well made; and I'm glad that Carhartt offers it, as I dont like hoods and all the FR sweatshirts had hoods. My constructive criticism: - Pockets: It could use some more pockets. Give us hand warmer pockets, and perhaps 1 inside breast pocket. Also provide closure flaps to close the two breast pockets that are there. Loose 1 star for inadequate pockets. Fit: I wear a size 44 regular shirt. I have been this this size for over 25 years; so its either a 44 Reg. or a "Large". So I ordered the Large. The Shirt Jac in size large was too snug in the shoulders, limited arm movement, especially when buttoned up; so I returned it and ordrered an X-Large. Now I have adequate shoulder and sleeve length, but I could stuff a basketball under the front with it buttoned up. I'll get used to it, but the size grading could be better. Loose 1 star on Fit. Otherwise a 5 star product, and if these items were fixed I would have no problem paying 30 to 40 % more than what the price was as is.

Great Accessory
I highly recommend that one purchases the optional hood for any of Carhartt's jacket offerings. You never know when you need one and they can easily be taken off via snaps. Same quality and color as the corresponding jacket.

Extremely Light Weight
This jacket is extremely light. Its just a little bit thicker than a jeans jacket and in my case used in the same type of weather. Luckily for me I already have a matching zip up hoodie to layer underneath. Otherwise its got a lot of pockets and the quality is definitely there. The fabric is soft. Nothing like the canvas jackets that Carhartt makes. I was on the verge of returning this but I kept if for traveling purposes. Sizing is generous.

Carhartt FRR43 flame resistant lined bib overall
I have found the FRR43 bib overallis to be very comfortable and warm for winter use (of course the British weather is nothing like in North America!), good features are the legs have a stud fastener at the bottom so the zips do not keep coming undone (as they do on my other R02 and R03 pairs), also the material is much softer than these so more comfortable but so far seems just as tough (hopefully I will never need to test the flame resistance of these overalls), and the pockets on the bib are much larger so you can get a phone etc. in which you can't do with the other Carhartt bibs I own . What is not so good - waist size is much bigger than the size chart would suggest, even wearing over other clothes it is about 2" too big and this is after washing a few times, zip on the fly has stuck a couple of times aswell.
