Great comfortable glove!
These are great gloves - very warm and comfortable. I had to buy a new pair because my puppy grabbed one and ate through a finger. Otherwise, I suspect these will last for a very long time.

Carhartt Quality - with Variables
NOTE: Although listed as "Fencer", the packages said "Work Gloves," NOT Fencer. Ordered two pair of these gloves since I had just put holes in two of my current pair (other maker). Both pair were well made, but probably in different factories. One was stiffer and thicker, sufficiently so that I had to lather mink oil liberally on the gloves to soften them to the point the seams didn't hurt when holding something tightly (like a pick or hammer). However, this pair seems likely to last longer since its leather is thicker. The other pair also was well made, but its leather is softer and thinner. No preparation required. Overall, particularly compared to gloves costing $20 - $30 a pair, I recommend these. But be prepared for some variation in what you get.

I got these gloves for driving on cold mornings (truck gets cold). The leather is great, love the feel (and that smell). There's no lining, these are soft leather. The wrist strap is great. Only saying cause it's something I thought didn't matter and I'm digging it now. Got to believe they'd make a great lite-work glove. But these won't ever get the chance!
