Carhartt A513 Insulated Grain Leather Safety Cuff Work GloveCarhartt Insulated Grain Leather Safety Cuff Work Glove (#A513)

Durable and warm
I bought these gloves for winter farm work and they've met my expectations. They have been beat on, pooed on, stepped on and are still going strong. The safety cuff is really ridged (which probably is the safety feature) and battles with the cuff line on my Carhartt jacket, which pushes the gloves down past the tip of my fingers on occasion. At first the gloves were snug, but have worn in nicely. They fit like a...glove? (I couldn't resist) I would, and have, recommend these to others.

Excessively long pinkies
I buy Carhartt very frequently due to the high quality. When these gloves came in, the tag on them stated something like "garden gloves" and nothing about "Fencing gloves". They are, however, a thick leather and aren't low in quality. My biggest complaint is the fit on the pinkie. The pinkies are approximately 1 inch too long, which makes using the gloves rather difficult. I have average sized hands and most other gloves do not over-fit my hand like these do.

I was Looking for Gloves Like This
I bought these along with the Suede Work Glove this spring. I use these when I have things to do when I need more protection than the fabric backed gloves mentioned above. Things like trimming the rose bushes where I need leather protection on the back of my hands. I had a small issue with one of the fingers and took a look and trimmed the leather a bit and fixed the problem. The gloves are super comfortable now.
