I wish the pockets had zippers, but that's the only possible negative I can find with this very high quality product.
Reviewer: bdsulli, Location: Washington DC Not up to Carhartt standards I love Carhartt stuff - quality to price ratio is about as good as it gets. But this jacket is a disappointment. As a tall guy, I love that I can get Carhartt jackets in sizes that fit. So I was excited about getting this coat. I received it just in time for a trip to Iceland, where it rains a bunch this time of year. Not heavy rain, just consistent drizzle. The first day I wore it, for an easy walk up to a waterfall, and within 40 minutes I was wet all the way through. Again, not a heavy downpour, just a steady, light rain. By the time I got back to the car I was soaked. And, I'll add, super hot - because this coat doesn't breath at all. Bottom line, I'm glad I only paid like 40 bucks for it, because it's not worth even that. Suppose that's why it's one of Carhartt's cheaper rain jackets. Oh well. Oh - and the chest pockets are placed strangely high up, making it a little awkward to access them (and it looks funny to me). Bottom line, I'd say spend a few more bucks for one of their better quality rain coats.
