Great new style Carhartt coat .
I have always owned Carhartt coats, and always enjoyed the warmth and the quality of longevity of Carhartt's. This Sandstone Hooded Multi-Pocket Jacket/Sherpa Lined (#J284) is a great new style with many pockets, Sherpa lining along with the attached hood make this style coat a no-brain- er for the colder winter months here in the Great Northeast. Oh wasn't sure about the snaps instead of a zipper but it is a plus for coat.

awesome, warm, comfortable jacket(J141)
I love my sherpa lined carhart coat. It is the warmest coat I've ever owned. Want another one, bought my partner one. Wouldnt buy or wear any other coat in the winter.

Comfortable, easy to work in
Very warm and comfortable, hardy enough to take a few knocks. I do orchard work, constantly moving around in different positions all day and find the jacket is not restrictive, very easy to move in.

Nice "medium" weight.
Purchased for my husband. He had the same jacket several years ago, and likes the weight - great for early spring, and fall when mornings and evenings are cooler. Only concern is the sleeve cuff - these tend to wear/fray pretty quickly. On his heavier coat I added on a piece of fabric to slow this process down. would like to see Carhartt come up with their own solution to this. I have to say, I bought this coat strictly because my husband likes the fit and the weight - I am not sold on the durability. Again, it seems to fray/deteriorate quickly. We have also had multiple issues with zipper breakage in the past - am hoping that too is resolved. Am anxious to see if this jacket proves me wrong...am hoping so!

I LOVE THIS JACKET
My dad has a sierra jacket and he loves it, then he got one for my girlfriend for Christmas and she loves it so I had to have one. Dad found them on sale at Dungarees.net and I got a gravel colored one. Now I understand why they love theirs so much. This jacket has a tailored/slim fit yet feels very roomy and comfortable. It is nice and warm in the cold, windy, wet weather here in Indiana. Thank you Car-hart!!!
