Comfortable, easy to work in
Very warm and comfortable, hardy enough to take a few knocks. I do orchard work, constantly moving around in different positions all day and find the jacket is not restrictive, very easy to move in.

Reviewer: mntview, Location: Hawk Springs, Wyoming, Occupation: My husband wears this jacket. He manages a ranch/farm.
Nice "medium" weight.
Purchased for my husband. He had the same jacket several years ago, and likes the weight - great for early spring, and fall when mornings and evenings are cooler. Only concern is the sleeve cuff - these tend to wear/fray pretty quickly. On his heavier coat I added on a piece of fabric to slow this process down. would like to see Carhartt come up with their own solution to this. I have to say, I bought this coat strictly because my husband likes the fit and the weight - I am not sold on the durability. Again, it seems to fray/deteriorate quickly. We have also had multiple issues with zipper breakage in the past - am hoping that too is resolved. Am anxious to see if this jacket proves me wrong...am hoping so!

very good craftmanship, heavy duty
I know that as I wear the jacket, it will become softer amd more comfortable but it feels like a hard canvas tarp for now. Runs very large.

If you work outside you MUST get this coat!
I purchased this coat for my son and fiance. They both work outside and they both said that this is the warmest coat they have ever had.

Best winter jacket I've had.
Very warm and not bulky. It does a great job of keeping out the Wyoming wind. When I fell into the mud it cleaned easily.
