Reviewer: BroncoJohn, Location: Indiana High Quality tough as nails!! This is the warmest coat I have ever had. I received one of these for Christmas after having it for a while I bought another one so I could have one for work and one for good.
Reviewer: JCosmoAsp, Location: Idaho Panhandle, Occupation: Forest products The perfect style for working outdoors This style, J002, allows the wearing of a toolbelt without the hassle of a longer coat. Also, it's great if you get in and out of a vehicle often--it doesn't ride up at all. It's warm by itself, but is generously sized to allow for a heavy flannel shirt and a Carhartt vest underneath. The sleeves have knitted cuffs to keep cold out, yet they allow for winter gloves to fit without interference. The front pockets are large enough to allow for gloved hands to fit inside, and the two inside pockets are great for sunglasses and cell phone storage. Pretty much perfect. Think I'll order the hood and complete the package.
Reviewer: Wolfhound32, Location: Utrecht, The Netherlands., Occupation: Artist Awsom Jacket, but on the short side. I have the jacket in Sandstone Gravel color in size Large - Regular
that fits very short on the waist.
I like the model en feel of the jacket very much but it is short.
So i ordered an Large-Tall in Black (i can't find it anywhere in the Gravel color, i think Carhartt stopped making it)
I received it, but i found out that the so called Arctic Lining polyester insulation was much thinner than in my Gravel jacket.
It could be an manufacturing error or they simply put less insulation in the jackets they produce now, i don't no.
I complained and Dungarees refunded a part of the money in store credit, thanks.
The quality of the stitching and fabric of the jacket is excellent (i hope the insulation was a one-off)!
