Reviewer: GearHead101, Location: Long Island, New York Very comfortable and windproof The Crowley nylon softshell jacket is well built and a good overall design. Rugged materials and construction, well thought out features [e.g. pocket design & location, drop rear section], good fit, functional, windproof, highly water resistant, and surprisingly good looking. The only suggestion I would make is for Carhartt to make an insulated version for Winter weather.
Reviewer: Pat9, Location: Arkansas Great price & great product! High quality product as you would expect from Carhartt; runs a little large in the sizing but very warm, comfortable & durable. Very pleased with the coat, the price and the customer service.
Reviewer: CarharttFan, Location: SC, Occupation: accountant love carhartt. have several hooded jackets. this is a good chsnge and very comfortable Bought a large and sleeves were too short. my son is 6' 4". Had to return for a large tall. Fits perfectly. He loves it.
Reviewer: Cnyc212, Location: NYC, Occupation: Freelancer Fit Is Good I read several reviews that mentioned freakishly long sleeves and weird fit etc.
I usually purchase a XL Reg in Carhartt jackets and that's just what I purchased in this case. The fit is generous and it is made for *work. For that reason there is room enough to move around and to layer underneath. I find nothing wrong with this. YES the sleeves are a little long but I think once you layer it will benefit you.
If you have a skinny build and like form fitting clothing then get a size down. If not just buy your regular size and know that it's a roomy jacket but don't panic!
Quality is decent for what it is and the details are sharp. Much nicer than the same offering from the other workwear giant.
The khaki color offered is perfect for casual wear. The others were too industrial for me.
