With a full seat and thigh, Carhartt's original dungaree fit jeans provide the most room for movement. They feature a classic rise that sits at the natural waist and wide leg openings that fit over boots. Mid-rise is also available in select styles.

Reviewer: 2309Millwright, Location: Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada, Occupation: Construction Millwright No Substitute for work pants These pants are the perfect weight. They're durable. They're very comfortable in the crotch and upper thigh area. The leg openings to accommodate work boots is also fantastic. They sit very nicely on the waist area
I won't wear any other work pants! Most comfortable pants I've ever worn at work.
My wife's only complaint, is that they tend to fade quickly after several washings.... I couldn't care less about the fading aspect, however, it seems to be an issue with the Mrs.
Reviewer: Veee, Location: Kansas, Occupation: Homemaker My dad likes these jeans. Dad is 84 and has worn the same style of work jeans since I can ever remember. These take the beating from his farm work and he likes them. Mom can find enough good material to patch the worn spots. I bought him a couple pairs for Father's Day because he lost one pair as the EMT's had to cut them off after an ATV accident. While recovering at home, he is in his jeans everyday!

Reviewer: JonH, Location: SW Iowa, Occupation: Retired Lineman. Full time Grandpa. Still the best value. Carhartt is the only brand of jeans in my dresser. The quality, fit & durability is second to none. I was a lineman for 31 years & Carhartt is the standard for that industry for all outer clothing. Now that I'm retired I still enjoy the value of this brand.
My only frustration with the brand is that the company has downsized the side pockets on their work pants at least twice in the past few years. If they make them any smaller they will be useless. Come on Carhartt, lets continue to make clothes that cater to the working man...
