With a full seat and thigh, Carhartt dungaree fit jeans provide the most interior space. They feature a classic rise that sits at the natural waist and wide leg openings that fit over boots. Mid-rise is also available in select styles.

Reviewer: FastE, Location: Greeley, Co., Occupation: Garden associate shouldn't have changed I cannot believe that your replaced the 171 with this new jean. I am 5'11" 170 pounds and the 171's fit perfectly even after they have their shrinkage. The 237 is approximately 3.5 inches longer and I can stand on them with the middle of the bottom of my foot. How ridiculous -- if I weighed 240 lbs and stood 6'1" -- the 34 x 32 would fit perfectly just as the 171's do. Now I have to find some other work pant for summer that matches up to the 171 and sure not some double leg deal with bottoms that look as if I'm wearing bell bottoms
Reviewer: Sidecart, Location: Colorado Very Comfortable, great value A few years ago, I discovered Carhart B171 Relaxed Fit Carpenter Jeans. Working around the ranch, they have been great and I can carry everything I need for work. I think I have about eight pair but they are all starting to get old and a little worn. I was disappointed to learn that Carhart was no longer making the B171's and tried to find them everywhere.
I bought two pair of B237 to see how they compare to the Carhart B171 Relaxed Fit Carpenter Jean. These are a big improvement. The pockets are lined. They are very comfortable. The utility pockets are very good and I can carry all of the items I used to carry in the other jeans. I am very pleased with these and intend to buy several more pair.
