Great idea but poorly executed
These pants are comfortable and the fabric is second to none but when it comes to the slits on the front knees for extra flexibility they out and out look horrible. The stitching is done with so little care that after one wash they slits are permanently open making people stare at you like what's up with that guys pants.

I really wanted to like these.
When I saw these pants were made of a stretch canvas, I was sold. Slant pockets, cell phone pockets, and articulated knees rounded out the package. First, the materiel is great, and has a good hand feel and should be very durable being a canvas weave. Slant pockets are nice too. Now for the misses: The cell phone pockets are different sizes. The one on the left will only fit small phones, like an iPhone. The one on the right fits a slightly larger one (Galaxy size), but no larger. I carry my phone on my off side, why not make the pockets symmetrical? Now for the deal-breaker. The "articulated knees" suck big time. Wore them for a whole 5 minutes before I realized they look goofy and were totally uncomfortable. They made this expanding "gusset" of sorts, with a very light materiel inside (not the same as the pant materiel). To make this work, they sewed two seams across the entire kneecap area. They are not just uncomfortable bent down, but even just standing straight. Who wants not one, but two seams right on your kneecap? The sides are darted, and the flex materiel has some give, so they really could have just left the knee whole and still had great mobility. As if the pants are laughing at you, when you crouch down and stand back up, the kneecap seams fold over and look like the gusset is smiling. I can't reach down to flatten my seams every time I crouch. The knees, and cell phone pockets to a lesser extent, really kill these for me.
