|Carhartt Cotton Ripstop Relaxed Fit Cargo Pant (#B342)|

Tough, but not Carhartt tough
Having previously owned Carhartt canvas pants (B11 & B151) and loving them strongly my next choice in work pants was naturally Carhartt. However, I do not feel ripstop is a great choice material for work pants. I only wore these pants for four day before I went back to canvas pants. The pants developed rips too quickly, yes, the rips stopped tearing, but these pants should not have tore in the first place.
The B11 work pair pants I used before lasted for five days a week for nine months before my waist out grew them. With only one small rip near my boots. Nine months of metal fences, chains, barbed wire, lumber, nails, screws. Unloved but always lasted.
These pants gained few holes in the legs, and an extremely noticeable hole next to the twig & berries, which left them 'not customer friendly' or perhaps too friendly.
Pro: comfortable to wear in hot and humid Florida summers.
Con: Too thin and weak to be abused at heavy labor work jobs.
