"Original Fit" statement is misleading and and sizing inconsistant
I like Carhartt styling. I like the B151 style best. I like the cut, and the color options, and I used to like how they fit me. But in past two years your sizing has been all over the place. My inseam measures at about 33+ inches. Allowing for average shrinkage, I have purchased 33x34 pants for years - I have actually measured four different new pairs of Carhartts with a listed 34 inch inseam and found them to be three (3) inches longer than several pairs I still have of 33x34 which were purchased 1-2 years ago. Shrinkage may be a small percentage of the difference - but NOT 3 inches. I tried shrinking a newer pair with a labeled 34 inch inseam and after 5 washings in hot water and heated drying they are still way too long. I am now trying on 32 inch inseams - but believe me - the problem is not caused by my legs shrinking, and I weigh the same amount I did when I was in my twenties. I have actually measured several pairs of new pants before washing, and often find that the inseam can often be as much as 35+ inches. Since you don't make a 33 inch inseam, and I have never found a pair of 32 inch inseams to actually measure 33 inches - What exactly is your strategy in cutting the 34 inch pants at 35 inches? Has your design changed to make the butt section roomier and therefore increasing the distance from waist to cuff?
They don't fit the way they used to, or as labeled.
You asked for a review, so I tried to be honest.
