very good jacket
Very good jacket, better than the one I had, from another manufacturer, better than wearing a vest. On really cold days, I can wear another sweatshirt under it. Got the 3xl, fits very well, alittle big, but, that's the way Carhartt is. You cant go wrong with it.

extremely warm and comfortable
I spend many cold days outside and with the high visability and warmth of this sweatshirt I am safe and warm. The size runs large enough to cover my bibs and another sweatshirt. Love it. ...

Very warm under hardhat!
Working in the cold is bad enough, but being restricted by what to wear under a hard hat is worst. Very happy doesn't cover it. I'm your typical bald construction worker dealing with a nice cold Buffalo, NY winter; this will definitely save me from some frozen brain cells. All this and a great price, can't beat it!

Replaces two layers in the cold!!
I work outside year round, in home construction as a framer. My last coat was a high visibility Carhartt zip up hoodie, lasting over six years. I'm only retiring it due to its heavily stained (looks like I rolled around on a grease monkey's floor). Not that's its worn out (wears like iron) just looks that bad. I up graded to the thermal lined version to reduce the layers I wear. I wear layers rather than a heavy canvas Carhartt so as to keep flexibility in my line of work and keep warm. This keeps me toasty and increases my ability to move. I wear high visibility to be seen for safety and to let others know why I'm there, for the locals and police (work in inner city). I definitly recommend it to anyone that needs to be seen and needs to stay warm!
