Reviewer: MsTrisha, Location: Toccoa, GA, Occupation: Homemaker We found my husband's new gotta-have work shorts! Carhartt has been our family's favorite brand for work clothes for quality, washability, durability and comfort for some time now. The work environment at my husband's job is from too warm to down-right hot and shorts are a 'must'. These have the perfect fit for his athletic build - think baseball player. Tappen Work Force is light weight yet tough. They look good on, too - not simply 'industrial'. We already have three pair, and all the colors are great.
Reviewer: MtnGuy, Location: Ca, Occupation: Sales Tough, but still very comfortable. If your looking for tough and made to last, you found it. This is my second pair (needed two colors). Movement is so easy in these shorts, yet the material can stand up to anything. The sizing is right on, no falling down on my waist. Love the pockets on these.
Spend the money on these and get great quality. Personally, I got tired of my local stores carrying no name brands that were cheaply made and did not fit right.....
Reviewer: MsTrisha, Location: Toccoa, GA, Occupation: Homemaker No longer the fit he loved. My husband had a pair of these work shorts that seemed to last forever - he would not part with them. When I ordered again, they did not fit even in a size up. We determined that the seat measurement is now a full two inches less than it was on the original pair. But all is not lost! We purchased Tappen Work Force Rip Stop shorts instead and they are of the wonderful fit and quality to which we had become accustomed from Carhartt. Plus we like all the colors!
Reviewer: juano, Location: Western Colorado, Occupation: Retired Front Pocket design is terrible I have owned Carharrt shorts and work pants for years just to let you know I'm not some newby to their gear. Every Carharrt pant or short I have ever owned has come with "slash" type pockets which angle down for a generous opening into the pocket. These shorts have an unusual pocket opening that basically is a side-to-side opening up high which makes it difficult to put your hands comfortably in your pockets to get stuff in there or just enjoy putting your hands in your pockets while talking to someone or just waiting around. You guys know what I'm talking about. These pockets are just plain uncomfortable. Be sure and look at the pics close up before you even think of ordering these turkeys.
