Carhartt offers a complete selection of premium sweatshirts in midweight, heavyweight and thermal-lined fabrics. Carhartt sweatshirts are double-needle stitched for durability, and some styles include attached three-piece hoods that fit comfortably under hard hats.
Reviewer: Lee3, Location: North Carolina, Occupation: Retired Best Sweatshirt on the Market, Period! Simply put, this is the Cadillac of sweatshirts. Thick, high quality material, durable construction, and it's even rain repellent to boot! You may have to try a couple of different sizes in order to see which one fits you best, because it does run large, and it does not shrink much at all.
Reviewer: aurorab1216, Location: upstate, NY, Occupation: Logger Great sweatshirt!! Bought this for my son who works outside in all kinds of weather. He absolutely LOVES it!! Says the fit is perfect- I got him a Large Tall. The sleeves are actually long enough and his back doesn't stick out when he bends. He thinks that is awesome!! He also loves the extra pockets.
Reviewer: PHHIII, Location: Halls, Tn., Occupation: Retired teacher and farmer Simply the best I recently purchased the Paxton Heavyweight Hooded Sweatshirt and once again Carhartt has outdone itself. I have several of the heavyweight hooded sweatshirts and they are the best on the market. They don't shrink or fade and with the new Rain Defender option it's the best sweatshirt one can buy.
Reviewer: TLB1, Location: Denver, Colorado, Occupation: Train Conductor Great Product Having hung up my uniforms for the last time after retiring from the Air Force, I found myself in need of civilian work clothes as I transitioned to a second career as a train conductor and Carhartt products were the obvious choice. From years of military survival training, I knew layering is the most effective way to remain comfortable in changing weather conditions and chose the Carhartt Heavyweght Hoodie as the foundation of my cold-weather gear. At first the Hoodie fit a little loose, but after a couple of washings it was perfect with enough room to fit a poly-pro top underneath. As fate would have it, my OJT in the Denver rail yards was during one of the snowiest February's on record and the Heavyweight Hoodie layered under Carhartt's Artic Vest kept me toasty warm even when the temps drooped into the single digits.
Reviewer: Packageman, Location: Maryland, Occupation: Farming The best there is... I wear these Carhartt hoodies all the time. EXTREMELY durable. I like to have them in all three differant weights as the heavyweight is just too much for anything above 50 degrees.
