Reviewer: Lauren22, Location: Denver, CO I really wanted to like these but..... Too bad these don't come in odd sizes like a 5 tall. I'm 5'10", and both the 4 tall and 6 tall had issues besides these running a size too big. The 4 talls fit best in the waist and leg, but when squatting down they were tight on the hips and where the front of your leg connects to your body and also too short in length! The canvas fabric is strong durable and thick in these, but 1% or 2% spandex instead of all cotton would be ideal since most people bend and move when working and want to be comfortable instead of feeling stiff like a board. The 6 talls weren't as tight in the hips and when bending over, but they were too big in the legs and gapped at the waist in the back. I don't know why Carhartt thinks that most women have a straight up and down body type instead of a smaller waist and going out at the hips like mine. Or that there aren't tall ones like me who need more length as well. I am so sick of other reviewers saying Carhartt pants run too long but they couldn't be more incorrect. The only positive about these pants is that the bottom hem is big so at least I can cut it out and they would be long enough in length then.
Reviewer: sama, Location: Santa Barbara, CA, Occupation: Graduate Student Great pants for teaching and biking to campus I was looking for pants I could bike in and teach in. These are them!
These pants are comfortable for my 20 minute bike ride to work and are professional for the work place and teaching college students. They're comfortable and cute and exactly what I was looking for.
Reviewer: Allana10, Location: Portland, or, Occupation: Landscaper Awesome work pants! These are excellent work pants! I usually wear a size 6-8 in normal jeans and the size 6 in these carharts are slightly too big. They fit fine with a belt, but are a little loose. I recommend going a size down from your normal Jean size.
Reviewer: MDawg, Location: BC Canada, Occupation: metal fab student Way too big for a small person!!! I'm normally a pants size 0-4 (24-26) depending on brands etc, 5'4 106lbs. I got size 2 of these which as far as i know are the smallest they come, still WAY too big. Not just a bit baggy or something, I'll definitely need to alter them or get them tailored to be able to wear them. Definitely not a standard size 2.
