Rated 5 out of 5 by coupdevill No saggy butt!
The original is just to loose and baggy in the butt, always rip the crotch out because they hang low etc. This fit is consistent with any straight legged relaxed fit you might own in other jeans. Just wish they came in original unwashed fabric and all the other colors.

The relaxed fit works best for me and these fit great "at the waist." I always tear out jeans just above the knees and the duck material combined with the double knee combats that nicely. These pants are well worth the extra bucks for their superior durability. The "weathered" duck reduces the break-in period for an immediate improved wear-ability.

These are hands down the best pants Carhartt makes. They are like the B136's but are "weathered" which basically means they have a softer broken-in feel to them and the color isn't so boldly "new" for lack of a better description. They are still the same burly 12oz cotton duck but feel more supple and flexible while wearing them. Very comfortable and still indestructible. Not sure why these aren't more popular! I only wish they offered them in more colors...

Rated 5 out of 5 by CR73 Well made heavier duty version of the regular washed duck pants
I bought these to use for yard work and working around the house. Paired up with the foam kneepad inserts, they're very comfortable for work that involves having to be on your knees from time to time. They're typical Carharrt high quality and the washed duck is very comfortable right away (no breaking in required!)

Rated 5 out of 5 by Highvltge Weary at first, satisfied overall.
For years, I've worn the B01 pant and they have never disappointed me in durability or functionality. I'm a slim guy, so naturally, the B01's fit a little baggy on me. When I found out about these, I had to give them a try; lo and behold, I am extremely satisfied with the fit. These seem to have the same durability as the original B01. My only cons are the wide sewn leg cuffs, and the lack of rear pocket/tool pocket rivets.

I took a chance on these pants . Normally , I dont like anything that Carhartt makes if it doesn't have the classic style #'s (codes like B01 , J001 , C01 , B160 etc.etc.). But this style (#100098) caught my attention for some reason . They are just like the B01 pants but sit a little lower on waist , a bit more form fitting , and have that 'weathered' look as if I owned for years . (I hope i am explaining that right). Lets put it this way --- I don't mind beating up my B01 work pants . But these ???? You can rock these just about anywhere !! These are surprisingly very nice !! I don't want to wreck 'em !! --I liked these soooo much that I bought style #100097 (same pants but NO double front). --They also have these in regular 5-pocket with no tool pockets or hammer loops (style # 100096). I didn't buy the 100096----yet !! --- Highly recommend these to those who are blessed Not to have a huge beer gut ! It will stick out more because of the low-rise cut . I just about made it !! These pants will inspire me, to help keep that xtra weight off because I really love these pants !!
