Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent coat! It was 70 degrees the day I got my coat but I had to wear it in my back yard. I love it it's everything I thought it would be and more. In my opinion if it says Carhartt you can't go wrong! I am soooo ready for the cold weather now. Bring it on. Thank you Carhartt for a fantastic coat! April 30, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Winter Parka This parka has kept me warm (wearing only a tee shirt underneath) in windy 20 degree temps with a wind chill in the mid teens. The heavy duty zipper along with the Velcro straps helps seal the jacket and stops cold wind from getting in. Also, the hoodie is very large and adjustable which allows me to wear a "full face" ski mask underneath it. In addition, and as an added bonus, this parka it is about half the weight of the "All Cotton" winter jacket I used to wear. March 3, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by This is the warmest and most comfortable coat you will buy This is the warmest and most comfortable coat you will buy. I look forward to the drop in temperature just to wear it outside. It is actually too warm for strenuous active wear unless it is really cold, but wear it to work on a winter's day and you will not notice the train delay at the station, trust me. I would like the website to state the actual measurement of the garment. The sizing guide states that XXL is recommended for 50-52inch chest. I am six foot tall with 50 inch chest and 38 inch waist, stepping on the scales at 255lbs. I ordered the XXL which when lying flat and zipped up, I found to measure 64 inches. I could insulate my house with this size. Living in the UK I had a $50 shipping charge to deliver, and it would have cost me more to return, and had to therefore sell it online at a loss. However the company did give me a credit note towards the smaller size, XL which is marked for 44-48 inch chest, which arrived and fits very well. I would highly recommend the coat, and the company have been fair, but would like to see the actual measurement of the garment clearly marked. Big Tam Mac Scotland February 4, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by Finest parka for the money...look no further! This is the warmest, lightest parka that I have ever owned. I had a military extreme cold parka for over 30 years and by far this new Carhartt is the finest. Look no further, others will cost you more into the hundreds of dollars, even up to one thousand, and unless you want to pay more just for a name...well that's your decision. January 9, 2015
