If you need to stay warm, this is the coat. I have worn this coat in -0 temperatures, in the mountains, in the windy plains, on snow mobiles, and in hunting blinds. I have never been cold while wearing it. The material is more comfortable than the traditional Carhartt but just as durable. Best cold weather coat I've owned. February 19, 2013
Excellent Winter Coat You might expect this coat to be extremely heavy but it is the exact opposite. Weighing between 1-2 pounds it is light but still very durable. I wear it anywhere from 20 degrees down otherwise I sweat too much. Very good even in cold winds - wore it in 30-40 mph winds in the cold and was still toasty. Even with just a t-shirt on underneath, you are warm and it breaths well. Nylon Canvas is not as stiff as sandstone, warn duck, or 1000-denier Cordura® nylon so it is easier to move in by far. Lots of storage space with 8 outside pockets and 2 inside. XXL - for a 6' 280 lb man - perfect for a wide frame December 29, 2012
This Jacket Is Awsome. I'am Recently Workin In Alberta, Canada, And My New Carhartt Parka Really Gets The Job Done When It Comes To Keepin Warm. I Recommend This Parka To Anyone Workin In Extremly Cold Temps. I Also Purchased The Bibs That Matches The Parka, And It Was Realy Worth It. December 10, 2012
