I have been an electrician for over 30 years and I have tried a lot of work clothes from jeans to uniforms. These are the best pants I have found. I have 2 pair that I bought over a year ago to try them out. I am just now starting to see some wear spots. I will be buying more of these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by HighVoltageTester Great Pants!
Pants fit great! The only thing is I wish the side pocket was a little wider to fit my IPhone in, but other than that another great product from Carhartt

Rated 5 out of 5 by DeadEye Excellent Double Front Jeans
The jeans fit very well. Double front are excellent for using knee pads when needed and they have a handy side pocket for a cell phone or radio

Rated 5 out of 5 by Verified Reviewer Best FR Pants EVER!
I have tried several styles of FR pants and by far, these are the best! The style, the weight of the fabric, the fit, and price, all make this my choice for FR gear. The only difference between these and my regular pants are that they are FR rated. My only complaint is that they don't have the second side pocket. These pockets come in way too handy for carrying cell phone(s). I will certainly be buying more.

Rated 1 out of 5 by fathead0389 not the quality carhartt product expected
Was very disappointed with these carhartt FR jeans from the moment I put them on. Size is on the small side of all other carhartt jeans. First time I bought my regular size and had to return them and buy the next size up. The thighs are very tight for the relaxed cut. Have already split out two pairs. The pockets have very small opening and not very big/deep. Not a good choice for the worker that has to step up or move around a lot.

Rated 1 out of 5 by voltage do not fit as others
I have wore Carhartt for years now but the fit in these are terrible. Legs are tight and low rise that make it feel as if they are falling off even with a belt. Bought a size bigger the next time and no difference just a bigger waste. These were not looked at as a active working persons jean. Not designed around a lineman, electrician or pipeliner career requiring FR protection. The other dungeree and double knee jeans of Carharrt have excellent fit durability and designed for the active worker. BRING BACK THE 1889 DOUBLE KNEE JEANS!
