Superior co. support & update to first impression
January 21, 2016

What company actually calls you as a result of your review? CARHARTT does! I received a pleasant call and email from Brenda in customer support regarding my review of this henley. I explained my experience, whereupon Brenda offered free shipping of the item back to Carhartt for an inspection, and replacement if warranted. I thanked her but I'd only worn it once briefly, then washed it. Eyeballing it after the "according to instructions" wash (by default, I wash just about everything that way), I noticed it had shrunk considerably, then tried it on again briefly to see how bad it was. I determined it was serviceable, though I was a bit disappointed. I'm writing this, still wearing this comfortable, quality garment, after a full-day's work in 30-degree weather with a medium weight tech base layer under it, a heavy flannel over it and an Arctic Vest over that (with my Detroit jacket on standby for a final but unneeded layer). This henley is great for that purpose. The base layer wicks and this waffle layer allows air drying. Nice combo. The shrinkage, it turns out, may have been beneficial b/c it now fits comfortably under the flannel. The original size was as pictured, long sleeves & torso, etc. It shrank to a comfortably -fitted "Large", with a bit of manual and natural, wearing stretch. Sleeves aren't too short, and torso not too long so can be worn untucked. Thick, large buttons are easy to use. Overall, homerun Carhartt, both on the shirt and the service. Thank you.

Great shirts but shrink with washing!
February 20, 2015

From: Oxford, NY Age: 55-65 Gender: Female
These are great shirts as you'd expect from Carhartt! They're very high quality and super warm, so we were shocked when they shrank over 2-3 inches overall when we washed them the first time (followed the directions!). They still fit but are much shorter than we expected. (See the comparison in the pictures of the green ones we washed versus the grey ones that we hadn't washed yet.) They're still a great buy though!

I've ordered similar shirts online and purchased in the store. But, none of them compare to the nice thick feel of this shirt. It has all the quality that I've grown to love, from Carhartt.

Layering in the North East
January 1, 2015

From: Long Beach, Long Island NY Age: 55-65 Gender: Male
This knit Henley is a great part of my layering process to stay warm and still be able to work unloading lumber on Long Island. I start with a heavyweight Long John top which run a little snug, then a long sleeve tee shirt which runs a little larger and fits comfortably over the Long John top and then the textured knit Henley which runs a little larger than the tee shirt and is a very warm shirt. So this three shirt combination with a heavyweight sweatshirt is what usually gets me through most of the winter until I need my Carhartt Extremes Arctic Coat - Quilt Lined. Tom R. ( TR )

Great top!
December 4, 2014

From: Chicago, IL Age: 45-54 Gender: Female
These are great tops! I ordered 2 of these for my son as he had a similar one from last year. He says they are very comfortable and soft. I appreciate the solid Carhartt quality. Only drawback imho is that they are a very loose fit, while the previous year's style was more of a slimmer fit, which my 20-something son prefers. I was not able to determine fit type from the product description. He did keep the tops since they are for casual wear and super comfy.

The K200 which is the above reviewed product is great. PS: the K200 is being discontinued. The new replacement is very poor quality and a disappointment as a Carhart label. So much for reling on a label

There's nothing wrong with the product, it's great.

I had to return the item in the end, because XL in America is like XXXL in England haha. But no, the product is great none the less and I've ordered other clothes since in Large, just make sure you measure yourself accurately before you purchase anything. I do love the worker-man look from Dungreees and I'll recommend this brand to anyone. Too make it obvious about the sizing matter to help people understand for purchase, I'm not a skinny or a short guy. I'm about near 6'1", or I am 6'1" and I weigh about 210 lb. They run bigger than you think, so, just measure yourself and whoever reads this, take in what I've said about height and weight.
