just like everybody else, the new design sucks
August 6, 2016

From: Vancouver, WA Age: 25-34 Gender: Female
As a woman working in trades I have become extremely dissapointed in any socalled workpants for women. Not only is there a very small selection available but either the fit is uncomfortable or as in many cases you either don't have or dared to discontinue the tall sizes as well. I have already emailed the CEO of Dickies but the only response I got is I should check out the great womans section after requesting a mens design to be made into a womans, so needless to say either your design team of womans fashion either consists of men or your models are short with a tomboy figure. The real issue I believe is the fact that the majority of us women resort to buying mens work-pants as the only alternative that you do not prioritize because your salefigures are so small thinking there is no demand for them, no I do not understand in any way why you you think any tightfitting pants are work apropriate in any way, my dresscode requires me to wear loosefitting clothes so I do not get the negative attention from co-workers/customers aka sexual harassment because the pants are skinnyfit. your entire womans section is not working Either do a complete redesign or an overhaul of your designteam!!!

A poor replacement
April 3, 2016

From: Age: 35-44 Gender: Female
I loved the previous style of these trousers, the WB 136. Amazing, comfortably and extremely durable. The perfect work pant. And I have no idea why Carhartt discontinued it and replaced it with these. The fit is awful. They have added 2+" to the circumference of the leg! Why I don't know but its like wearing exaggerated bellbottoms. Useless in a work pant. The WB 136 was perfect and I wish they would bring that model back.

Field tough but comfortable
February 18, 2016

From: Kansas Age: Over 65 Gender: Female
I bought these to wear when walking fields hunting pheasant or quail with my friends and husband. They fit great, are comfortable for all-day wear and they take the beating from briars and field grasses without me getting beat up.

Why the change in design?!?
February 11, 2016

From: Underhill, VT Age: 35-44 Gender: Female
I bought two pairs of these pants to replace my worn out pairs and the new ones are awful! The fit has changed significantly and the waist is too high and very large. The pants say "Contoured waistband prevents gapping in the back", this is completely not true. From the hip the pants go straight up. There was a HUGE gap between my pants and my back. Also, the pockets are small and useless. These are not designer jeans, these are work pants. Why would the pockets be useless? They are still made from the thick durable fabric, but the fit is so terrible the pants had to be returned. I am so disappointed in these pants. The old style fit me perfectly.

WB 136 Knockouts Style #100681 Relaxed-Fit
December 10, 2015

From: Age: 55-64 Gender: Female
WB 136 is the winner. I am a fan of Carhartt . But not of #100681. I ordered 3 Pair of the #100681 when they did not have the WB 136 anymore. Needless to say I sent them back. Hopefully the WB 136 will be back in stock soon, have had #WB 136 Dungarees a while now, so as not to have an overexposure event. Nothing about the Style #100681 is up to the Standards of the WB 136. Quality of #00681 material does not come close to the quality of the WB 136, the WB 136 material is heavier. WB 136 - In cold weather blocked the wind, kept you warmer. WB 136 - In hot weather kept out the heat of the sun, no galls or chafing like with other pants. Pockets of #00681 are short and of no use. The WB 136 has deep useful pockets, carried all of my items, needed for the job at hand. WB 136 fit is fantastic, no gaps in waist, relaxed hip fit was great, bending, reaching. WB136 double front since material is heavier, allowed me to crawl around with no discomfort. The Style #00681 double front material not as heavy as I mentioned earlier. The fit of the Style #00681 did not even compare to the wonderful Fit of the WB 136. Style #00681 is uncomfortable in every way. Style WB 136 is a great fit all over. I always kept a pair to go to town in to do the storing in. Always lots of compliments on them. The rest I used for all kinds of outside work, from mud to rocks, mowing, weeding to stall work etc, including dodging briar bushes on the hills. The Style #00681 would not stand up to all of that. Please bring back the style WB 136 like it used to be with no changes in material or style. I depend on the Carhartt products, but not this Style #00681. Maybe Santa will whisper to Carhartt, to bring the WB 136 back under the Christmas Tree. What a wonderful gift that would be. Would you also consider on your womens shirts, tops, coats etc, to have them in Tall Length as well. Thank you

runs large: carhart canvas dungarees double-front
November 15, 2015

From: NH Age: 45-54 Gender: Female
Two years ago I purchased a set of 2 of these from elsewhere and they lasted 2 years. They are size 14. Dungarees size 14 was too big this year and the earlier set still fits just fine. It seems the ones from Dungarees run a size larger than the earlier set. I had to exchange them at Dungarees.com for a size 12, which fit just fine.

Want the old style WB 136 DKB's back!!!!
November 15, 2015

From: Age: 25-34 Gender: Female
This new style is horrible. Too high of a waist, baggy hips, and crotch and the bottom leg cuffs are lame. Please make the old style WB 136 DKB's again!! So many of us love and need them!! I wont be buying anymore Carhartt pants till I can get my favorite ones. SUPER BUMMED!!!!! I really need a new pair, but like someone else said, I guess I will have to patch up my old ones for now.

Wearing carhartts for 30 years
November 9, 2015

From: Age: 55-64 Gender: Female
I'm sad to hear so many negative reviews regarding this model of pants. Being in the construction industry (pipe welder originally) for 30 years, it has been difficult to find the right fit in carhartts until they came out with this model. In my opinion it has even improved. The mens model always came up too far and as it stretched during the day as all carhartts do, the straight style was hard to keep up when bending in different positions as in welding. I order my pants in a 10 tall although I am a 29" waist womens jean universally. This is not really flattering but that is not the goal when working. I get all the room I need in the seat without my belt cutting me off while preventing PC (plumbers crack). The extra thick hem at the bottom keeps the leg finished looking after many wash and drys! especially fitting well too as I always had to line dry and stretch the mens model to keep it fittting somewhat. Please dont change a thing on this contractor staple!
