Rated 5 out of 5 by mila runs large: carhart canvas dungarees double-front
Two years ago I purchased a set of 2 of these from elsewhere and they lasted 2 years. They are size 14. Dungarees size 14 was too big this year and the earlier set still fits just fine. It seems the ones from Dungarees run a size larger than the earlier set. I had to exchange them at Dungarees.com for a size 12, which fit just fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by DENSLC Wearing carhartts for 30 years
I'm sad to hear so many negative reviews regarding this model of pants. Being in the construction industry (pipe welder originally) for 30 years, it has been difficult to find the right fit in carhartts until they came out with this model. In my opinion it has even improved. The mens model always came up too far and as it stretched during the day as all carhartts do, the straight style was hard to keep up when bending in different positions as in welding.
I order my pants in a 10 tall although I am a 29" waist womens jean universally. This is not really flattering but that is not the goal when working. I get all the room I need in the seat without my belt cutting me off while preventing PC (plumbers crack). The extra thick hem at the bottom keeps the leg finished looking after many wash and drys! especially fitting well too as I always had to line dry and stretch the mens model to keep it fittting somewhat.
Please dont change a thing on this contractor staple!

Rated 5 out of 5 by amyrock Very impressed. Great pants for farming!
These pants are fantastic. I work on a small vegetable farm, and these pants get the job done. They're tough and sturdy as you'd expect, but with a couple pleasant surprises: 1) They're quasi-waterproof. Somehow, the fabric is water resistant so that when it rains, your pants are not nearly as wet as with a regular pair of jeans, and you stay warmer. The double-knees are crucial if your job involves a lot of bending or kneeling, and they also keep you more dry. 2) These pants fit well and actually look good. I'd never have expected this. The guys I work with have told me they wish men's carhartts were more like mine, because my pants fit well and theirs are super baggy. (When has women's workwear ever been better than men's?!) They're not too baggy, and cut perfectly. One word of caution: if you work outside, the black is a bad idea, and the brown is also pretty dark so on a sunny day, you feel the heat. The tan pants are the best when it's sunny, and also hide dirt the best.
One suggestion for Carhartt: please consider making these in additional colors, such as the men's pants have - e.g. charcoal gray or a light navy blue. It would help to have more neutral colors that aren't as dark as the dark brown and black. Thank you!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sparky5 POCKETS!!!!!
It's nice to find women's work pants that actually have pockets. Other pants I've tried have those little 2 inch pockets that are useless and are designed for fashion not the field.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sherby Finally rugged pants for women
Love love these pants. I work with abused and rescued dogs .I have needed something like these for a long time. I'm outside in the dirt mud and rain. These are heavy enough to take anything I throw at them I've already ordered two more. First day I wore them two women asked where I had gotten them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Allana10 Awesome work pants!
These are excellent work pants! I usually wear a size 6-8 in normal jeans and the size 6 in these carharts are slightly too big. They fit fine with a belt, but are a little loose. I recommend going a size down from your normal Jean size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ljacobs1 Great Work Pants for Women
I was very pleased to find these pants as I have only been able to find men's work pants in my town and I was extra pleased when I saw they came in tall. I am 6' and 180 lbs and the 12 talls fit amazing.

Love these work pants!!! I now have 3 pairs! I suggest getting exactly your size as they will bag out slightly throughout the day:) they don't shrink that much either.
