Great!!
June 23, 2017

From: Vancouver, Age: 25-34 Gender: Female
I love these pants, they are exactly what I wanted them to be. The reason I only gave them 4 stars is because the smallest size is a 2, which I ordered, but it still too big for me. I am 5''3 and 120 lbs and the 2 fits ok, they won't fall down but are still quite loose. I wish there was a 0 size available. Small girls work hard too!

Perfect for the working woman
June 22, 2017

From: Ghent, NY Age: 20-24 Gender: Female
I absolutely am in love with these pants. They have extreme durability and are comfy, especially when moving around all day. I love them too because they have the perfect woman's fit and are flattering even though they are work pants. I have 3 pairs now! 100% recommend!

With the exception of fabric thickness, these are the BEST work pants ever.
June 19, 2017

From: Seattle, WA Age: 20-24 Gender: Female
While some reviewers have complained about this product, I have been thrilled to finally find pants that have pockets that can actually hold tools and can survive longer than a few weeks in a hard shop environment. They are comfortable, there's no gapping in the waistband, I can carry tools, and work in a tough environment without fear of them suddenly tearing. That said, there is a small hole appearing in the leg after a year of hard use. PLEASE, CARHARTT, make women's pants as thick as men's! If these were that thick, I would buy them again in a heartbeat. As it is, I'll sadly have to search around to try and find a thicker brand. If you plan to use these a few times a week, using them hard, expect them to work well for at least a year.

Decent
June 2, 2017

From: Hopewell, NJ Age: 20-24 Gender: Female
I ordered two pairs in the same size, size 2. The first were regular straight leg and fit perfect. These were perfect fit around my thighs but the waist was 5 inches too big.

LOVE them
June 2, 2017

From: Saskatoon, Age: 25-34 Gender: Female
I wasn't sure how durable they would be for the hell I would put them through as a welder, but I LOVE them! SO comfy, just enough stretch, and look great. I read reviews saying to go up a size, so I did, and I found that they stretched out enough that I could have stuck with my regular size. IF YOU ARE A PIPE WELDER, I don't think they would withstand grinding beads. They are good for ironworking and welding, but I feel like they would disintegrate in the thigh area from grinder sparks even faster than normal-weight Carhartts. I usually speed-sew an extra patch on my thigh because mine wear out so fast. So yeah, good for welding, not good for grinding beads. Will definitely be buying more pairs!

Disappointing
June 2, 2017

From: Concord, MA Age: 25-34 Gender: Female
Carhartt - Women don't buy these pants for fashion, we buy them for function, we buy them to wear to work and we need them to last. We notice when you reduce the amount of stitching, shrink the size of the double front, and use inferior fabric. I should not be able to hold up a new pair of pants and see through the butt. These pants are going to fall apart in no time. Get with the program. You need to make your women's line as durable as the men's.

(Tiny) Mine Geologist
May 31, 2017

From: College, AK Age: 25-34 Gender: Female
I'm a geologist at a gold mine so I work around sharp rocks, tools, and have to move around all day between drill rigs and the core shack (10-12 hours days, 5 days a week.) I'm also fairly small-figured and young: I don't want to wear really baggy pants 60 hours a week so these pants are actually perfect! I already own moss and shadow and now I'm coming back for the brown. I wish Carhartt would make these in dark brown and black as well. I mentioned I'm smaller- I wear a definite size 2 in these pants. They do run a little large but that's ideal for a work pant in my opinion. I just need to wear a belt and when it gets cold outside they're perfect with a base layer. I hope these remain in production for a long time.

Too tight in bum, too large everywhere else
May 24, 2017

From: Toronto, Age: 20-24 Gender: Female
I was disappointed to find that these pants do not fit the picture. I would say I'm a similar body shape to the model in the photo. I bought a size 4 which ended up being too large in the waist (belt required), too large in the upper legs and FAR too tight in the bum. I am not a wide hipped person or have a large behind, which is why I'm so confused as to why these are such a poor fit. Very unhappy with the pants and since I'm a Canadian who paid in USD, I'm double out of luck.

Perfect Work Pants
May 22, 2017

From: Avon, CO Age: 20-24 Gender: Female
I am an Army vet and now I work as a Sawyer (chainsaw operator)/Logger, felling and removing dead and diseased trees from the mountains near Avon, Co. I only gave these pants 4 stars because the sizing is off. I am 5'7 1/4", and around 125-130lbs. I typically wear a 4, but ordered a 2 after reading other reviews, and the 2 is still just a tiny bit roomy around my waist. Also, as others have stated, Carhartt needs to offer the "long" option for the smaller sizes. I don't understand why they don't already. These pants brush the tops of my work boots, and as I'd rather have them out of the way than getting caught on something on the job, I don't mind them not reaching the ground, but anyone taller than me, or anyone wanting pants that touch the ground, would definitely need the long. Aside from the sizing issues, these pants (size 2) fit my body nearly perfectly and are extremely comfortable to work in. They also feel very durable, and are thicker than the men's Carhartt pants my boyfriend wears.

way too much stretch
May 21, 2017

From: Portland, ME Age: 35-44 Gender: Female
As a flower farmer I put my pants through long, dirty days. I've always worn carhartt's 100% canvas double front pants and could get at least 2 years of work out of them before the knees started to blow out. Here's what happens when you work in these pants: Upon putting them on they immediately stretch out so you need to belt up before you even start the work day. The continual stretching out plus sweat means that every time you squat your crack shows, (unless you've cinched the belt so tight that the back gets that great gathered look.) By day two you've completely lost all shape in the upper section of the pants. I'm already seeing wear in the pockets and knees and I'm still in the first month. I feel that if you loose the stretch material and go 100% cotton again so many of these issues will be resolved. Or label these pants as "casual wear" and lose the "work" part. I do like the cut, however. It's nice not to have as much bulk. Free advice about your women's market- most actually prefer a rugged pant EQUAL in quality/durability to the men's pant line, as women are throwing down just as hard in the field as men.
