Initial fit opinions size M
November 18, 2016

From: , NC Age: 35-44 Gender: Male
6' 155 lbs. (38-40 chest) ordered Med. I am content with the fit, I had concerns about the sleeve length on the M (regular) since they don't offer in Medium Tall. I am content with the length of the sleeve. One major win, the build quality is legit, length in back is fine. Def. able to move in it. A few things to note: Collar on jacket part only zips to bottom of collar (hood has neck snap/velcro deal that covers neck) just kind of sucks to wear without the hood if you want to zip up the collar all the way. The upper arms are a little wide but by the time you get to the elbow it just seems silly. Granted I am a narrow guy but this seems completely unnecessary. I can fit both my arms in one arm hole with no problems and find zero resistance at the elbow. (so I think a reduction of 15-20% would be a good place to start) Often times I feel more room can def. cause as many if not more issues in terms of mobility and safety. -The cuff snaps are OK, Not the best. Only 2 buttoning options Would be super happy if they had the added stretch/cuff deal tucked up in there. That would def. make this a better product. I am completely satisfied with my purchase (due to price I paid.) It'll get tested over winter as we shall see how it holds up in the elements.

From: Age: 55-64 Gender: Male
This jacket has everything, it has a full swing motion fit, quick duck fabric with Thinsulate, snap cuffs . Carhartt did a really good job engineering this jacket. This is a working man's jacket. The Carhartt store at Potomac town place in Woodbridge, Virginia is a superstore, Zack, doug ,and Brandon are super employees, they are professional and they know the Carhartt product

Middle of the road design
October 30, 2015

From: Age: 25-34 Gender: Male
Nice jacket, good looks, wish the whole inside was quilted not just the sleeves. Sleeves on the xl run big, even for me with 20" arms. Coffee brown is a nice very dark color. For all you gun owners out there , no pockets on this jacket will hold a compact pistol. Maybe a sub compact like a glock 43.

Great jacket overall
March 31, 2015

From: Age: 20-24 Gender: Male
After waiting months for it to be back in stock, I got got it right before winter ended. Although pretty pricey, this is the perfect flexible everyday jacket that still provides the warmth and durability from Carhartt. The detachable hood makes this perfect for snowy days. The only cons is that the length is odd; the front is so short that if you're wearing an untucked tshirt it is visible even when the jacket is zipped, yet not visible in the back because of the drop tail. Also, the hood collar flaps stick out and look kind of funny when the hood is attached
