Rated 5 out of 5 by Vandal The Best. I love this jacket
This jacket is fantastic. I can't see where anyone could find fault. It keeps you at a comfortable temperature from freezing weather to warm. I wear a short sleeved T-shirt under it in 36 degree weather, and when it warms up into the 50's it does not become too hot to wear. From freezing to heat it keeps me totally comfortable. I highly recommend this jacket without reservation.

Never written a review for anything but this is probably the best piece of outerwear I've ever bought. Thought it would be a sort of thicker shirt but it's a nice toasty jacket. Super warm, wear it over a t-shirt in 20 degree weather and in cold rain. Runs real big though, but that goes for all carhartt stuff. Get it.

This is a good all around jacket. It is warm in temps down to freezing. I wear this jacket for work as a bricklayer. It comes clean easy and the color stays when washed frequently. I have noticed that Carhartt shirts and jackets tend to run a little large. In most brands I wear an XL. In Carhartt I wear a L. Overall, the jacket is nice, durable and well made.

I love everything about this shirt jac but I am glad I went to my local Carhartt vendor to try it on. I normally were a 2XL regular, when I tried it on I was swimming in it. Went down to the XL regular and it is a perfect fit. If you can go to the store and try it on...do it. Another great product from one of my favorite companies!

Rated 5 out of 5 by G6800 Another Great Carhartt
Bought many Carhartt Shirt-Jacs but this Rip Stop version looks like it will hold up well, doesn't look like it will fade & wear out like the all cotton ones. This one sizes a bit larger than my canvas ones, normally an L fits just right w/o anything underneath, this Rip Stop quilt lined give me a bit more room to layer a shirt just like a jacket. Feel is roomy in arms, pits, back & chest but not overly bulky and length is 1-2" below a jacket length. I bought an XL which I returned...way to big. I'm 6'0, 225 about 46 chest so keep that in mind as the description doesn't give many measurements.

The perfect combination of utility , durability, and light weight. I can't wait for the autumn weather to wear it cutting wood and doing yard work.

Not your traditional shirt jacket; but that's what I loved about this product. This piece fits more like a jacket, but is much lighter and more all-season oriented. Love the rip stop material not only for it's durability but also adds a nice aesthetic. Same goes for the matte black hardware, a nice change up from some of the blinding brass fixtures Carhartt is known for. Deep front pockets are something Carhartt finally got right on this shirt jacket. Only gripe is Carhartt's inconsistent sizing. I'm 6'1, 220, athletic build, and the medium (smallest offered size) fits like a large. Still a great product and would recommend!
