Reversible Cotton Web Belt (#2224) 1.5 5 8 8
good quality, but a bit short it's just a belt - but I'd order the next size up from what you want so as you get a bit of length in the flap. otherwise it just fits around your waist with little to spare. March 3, 2012
at first look a Great looking belt Honestly I've come to expect a lot from Carharrt. All though I'm always a little skeptical when I see products overextending the brand name. This belt has failed me twice within 2 months. Both times the little set screw that hold the belt to the buckle pulled out the seven or eight threads that they use to secure the belt. First I made a repair without design change and got a few weeks out of the repair. But alas failure again. I trimmed the damaged section from the belt again and reinforced it with a medical product called ™moleskin. wish me luck or tell me of other methods that work. I was thinking of dipping the end of the belt in epoxy to keep the threads from separating. "Back to the drawing board''. Don't sweat it. I know you can do it. January 20, 2012
Buckle broke Great belt but as others have mentioned the buckle broke - nor really 'Carharrt' quality? July 30, 2012
Please Reegineer this The screws holding the belt in the buckle back out and get lost so you cant even put it back together. If I had the screws, I'd put loctite on them and stake them in place. I'm going to drill out the buckle and secure the belt with some spare roll pins I keep around for AR15 maintenance. June 17, 2012
this belt is not Carhartt quality When I received this belt I was skeptical of the buckle design - fearing that it would be constantly be opening on its own, but that turned out to be no problem. The belt worked great for about 4 weeks of use at which point the buckle actually broke off the belt while I was wearing the belt (I was bending over to pick up a sack of feed as I have done thousands of time before). The end of the buckle to which the belt is attached snapped off rendering the belt useless. Like one of the other reviewers, I have developed an unusually high level of expectation from anything that carries the Carhartt name. This product does not meet that expectation. March 25, 2012
very poor the way the buckle attaches very good looking belt and was very comfortable. But the buckle was junk and the way they attached the buckle to the belt was very poor. Not like I would expect from carhartt. They really need to back to the drawing board. March 1, 2012
Buckle ripped out I bought two of these, and the web belt ripped out of the buckle on one of them. The other one's just fine tho and I wear it every day. February 24, 2012
Looks good but breaks easily The belt looks and feels quite good. "Navy" is more black than navy, but it's ok. The fabric is very soft to the touch. There is one problem, but it's a major one: the buckle broke off after 4 days of use. All happened just as it's described in another review: tiny screws pulled out several threads and the buckle came free. It's really not what you would expect from a Carhartt product.
