Good Stuff!
If you read my reviews you will see a recurring theme: "Typical Carhartt quality." I will repeat that for these suspenders. I am a 56 Y.O. man with the physique to match. I bend and stoop all day long whether in the shop or on the job site. Belts hold up my dungarees just fine but they cause some discomfort on my waist line and further below. I also wind up tucking my shirt in at least once every hour to avoid "you-know-what". These suspenders alleviate those problems. They are nice and wide so they won't dig into your shoulders. The clasps hold onto to your dungarees all day so they stay up. Your shirt stays tucked. That means no more unsightly "you-know-what." I've had mine for about a month now and I wish I had bought them a year ago. They haven't showed any signs of wear or fraying. For the money you can't beat them. They are worth every penny. Buy the bright red ones and stand out in the crowd.

Wish I'd bought these ten years ago...
I never wore suspenders, but since I got these, I'm regretting that. I don't have to constantly tuck in my shirt or pull up my pants anymore.
Good look, quality hardware. Carhartt is the new Levi's.

Nice heavy duty clips, and wide elastic , could wear them all day no problem.

The suspender grips hold on to what ever they're griped to.
They're comfortable as to the confidence I fell while wearing them. I would have started wareing them long ago if I would have known just how comfortable they would be. I still ware belts as to special ocassions but at work these can't be beat! Over all quality, the best bar none.

The clamps will not open when accedentaly rubbed against something
I have had two different non name brands of suspenders, both were cheeply made with (inferior materials). The Carhartt's Utility Suspender (#A109) is the best I have ewver owned. I intend topurchase another pair, in the unlikely event, that i would need new suspenders.
