Excellent gloves
October 6, 2016

From: Cobham, Surrey, UK Age: 55-65 Gender: Male
I found these gloves to be excellent, I like the unlined leather as it allows a more tactile "feel". Initially I thought they might have been a little too tight, I purposely ordered a size Large when my hands were borderline X-Large but after wearing them for a day the leather gave sufficiently to make them a perfect fit. This is one product from Carhartt that does not run large! The quality of the leather is superb, very soft to the feel but still pretty tough but I won't be doing any heavy or rough work with them - they are too good. I found them very well suited to dry weather motorcycle riding and half the price of more specific bike gloves, they are fantastic driving gloves too.

Newer style glove
June 14, 2016

From: Plattsmouth, NE Age: 65+ Gender: Male
This glove changed a couple years ago. The older style was much better in quality and comfort. I bought five pair of these and the thumb was longer than the middle finger, which makes it impossible to pick up smaller objects. It seems that your quality control or the pattern for these newer style driving gloves is worthless. Please go back to the older style from a couple years ago.

Wear them just to wear them
July 30, 2015

From: Chapel Hill NC Age: Over 65 Gender: Male
These gloves are extremely well made, good looking quality. I will use these only for the lightless of work. I enjoy their fit and feel. The leather has a wonderful scent. They look like they good take on some really hard work, but I'll spare them from that. They're just to nice. And I intend to keep them that way. Very pleased.

Nice
February 27, 2015

From: Wanaque, NJ Age: 45-54 Gender: Male
I got these gloves for driving on cold mornings (truck gets cold). The leather is great, love the feel (and that smell). There's no lining, these are soft leather. The wrist strap is great. Only saying cause it's something I thought didn't matter and I'm digging it now. Got to believe they'd make a great lite-work glove. But these won't ever get the chance!

glove review
February 11, 2015

From: Chicagoland Age: 55-65 Gender: Male
Good quality gloves, just as described. However I was disappointed there was not even minimal lining. They ran large enough to, therefore, allow me to add thin knit glove insert.

Soft & Tough
November 4, 2014

From: Cape Cod Age: 55-65 Gender: Male
These gloves are real quality leather and comfortably soft. Remember as a kid the smell and feel of your first baseball glove? You get the same fragrance when you open the package. I do groundwork at a golf course and have them on most of the time. I feel naked without them. Light enough for gardening and tough enough for tree work, handling sharp items, mowing, picking up dead branches or laying sod. And they're also great for driving. And not overly-priced, a fair deal - I bought three pair.

A comfortable glove, just not long lasting if you are building a house !!
June 12, 2014

From: France Age: 45-54 Gender: Male
Let's just get things straight...... This is a great glove. That being said you need to sort out what you will be using it for. If you spend your day on the back of a horse rounding up cows, then it's the glove for you. Even if you are chopping trees and hauling lumber, again it's a great glove. The leather is soft and the draw string keeps the glove in place. They feel great on the hand, and most tasks are possible with this glove. All that being said the finger tips fast turn into holes if you are using the glove whilst working with bricks, rocks and other building materials. For the price I would like to have a little more life out of them than a month or two. ( that being said I have purchased three pairs, because I love the glove ) Now it's for you to work out what you will be using them for. But my recommendation is to give them a go. You might have just found your perfect glove.
