I bought these gloves as the closest product I could find to the work gloves provided by my employer (I am now retired). I had not used them long before the seam parted on the outside of the little finger of one glove. I was really disappointed in this, but continue to use the gloves since it still provides overall protection. I have actually bought a second pair since I like the gloves otherwise and intend to give them a second chance with regards to assembly quality.

Save your money
February 24, 2016

From: Age: 55-64 Gender: Male
Gloves looked nice and fit well, but ripped within 2 hours of putting them on doing LIGHT work. Total garbage and total waste of money. I thought I was buying quality with the Carhartt name. Never again.

Nice gloves
October 8, 2015

From: Sierra Nevada California Age: 45-54 Gender: Male
Were looking for a heavy duty pair that would last through wood splitting and stacking. Have to say 4 days and fingers were gone. Thanks to another persons answer on how to keep this from happening, duct tape worked to keep them going another few weeks.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Great Gloves
July 30, 2015

From: Chapel Hill NC Age: Over 65 Gender: Male
These are everything I hoped for. The fit is great and they feel very good on. I had planned to use them with cutting and splitting wood, but they are much too nice for that work. I'll use them when I need gloves for light shovel, pick and chainsawing work. I want them to last as long as possible. No digging in the mud with these.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Size really matters.
January 21, 2015

From: Lake Texoma, TX Age: 55-64 Gender: Male
Having large hands, it has always been difficult finding gloves (especially work gloves) that fit properly. I ordered two pair of these gloves in 2XL and they fit perfectly. Gloves were a very generous fit for the stated size. Material and workmanship were excellent as well.

Very comfortable and durable
September 26, 2014

From: Clever, MO Age: 35-44 Gender: Female
I have bought a number of these gloves in the past - they are comfortable, durable and fit great. I have bought new ones due to my use, getting oil, poison ivy or glue - not because they have wore out. Definitely recommend them.

Yes, I recommend this product.

I was Looking for Gloves Like This
September 10, 2013

From: Chicago, IL Age: 45-54 Gender: Male
I bought these along with the Suede Work Glove this spring. I use these when I have things to do when I need more protection than the fabric backed gloves mentioned above. Things like trimming the rose bushes where I need leather protection on the back of my hands. I had a small issue with one of the fingers and took a look and trimmed the leather a bit and fixed the problem. The gloves are super comfortable now.

Yes, I recommend this product.
