Good sock
December 2, 2016

From: cullman, Age: 45-54 Gender: Male
Expensive but worth it. I wear boots everyday and a year later theyre still solid, not see through on the ball and heel, and they still have elastic in the calf. Not a thick sock, not the best for sitting around hunting in the 30's, but for daily wear id highly reccomend them, if you can afford it.

Great work socks.
March 10, 2016

From: Age: 65+ Gender: Female
These are my husbands go to work socks. They hold up fairly well if you don't abuse them in the washer and air dry if possible. They can be dried in the dryer if needed but in general all clothing will last longer if air dried only.

Best sock this 64 year old cyclist has ever worn!
August 20, 2015

From: Age: 55-64 Gender: Male
I am a long distance human powered recumbent cyclist, and have long been searching for the perfect cycling sock. My former sock of choice was the Wigwam diabetic sport sock, which does not restrict blood flow to the feet like most socks do on a recumbent cycle. Their only drawback is that they tend to slide down into the cycling shoe during the hours in the cycle seat. My new sock of choice however, for cycling, hiking, backpacking, and everyday existence as a person, is the Carhartt boot length, merino stretch top, cold weather sock – a highly engineered, precisely contoured cloth marvel that does not slide down, does not restrict blood circulation, and exceeds by a wide margin my demands for ultimate comfort (the Wigwam was good, but this new one is GREAT). Now, you might be wondering about the “cold weather” aspect in the description. So did I, so I have been testing these engineered contour fit socks this summer, during hot hiking expeditions on dusty trails, to see if my feet turned into puddles of smelly sweat. Well, guess what! Yep, I have discovered, that for me anyway, these socks not only provide the cold weather warmth and coziness as expected, but they performed well in the warmer days of August and July too. With the personal results now in, I will be using these on future trike journeys no matter the weather. Perfect for any cycling trip! Putting my feet into these socks is like slipping into the world’s most comfortable foot solution. I never thought I could like a sock as much as this! They are well padded, and contoured to fit the foot like a glove, flawlessly engineered to provide long-haul cycling bliss no matter how long the trek. If you have all the other aspects of your pedaling paradigm under control, then the addition of these soft and sensuous socks will immediately send your pampered feet into cycling nirvana! The first pair of these Carhartt socks was a gift this past Christmas. Since then, I have purchased 6 more pairs. I plan on acquiring 7 more pairs soon. No matter what you do, do it in ultimate comfort in the Carhartt Merino stretch top sock! You won't be disappointed. steve

Comfortable and stays up.
September 18, 2014

From: Dallas, TX Age: 45-54 Gender: Male
These socks are great with my pull on steel toe boots, they stay up on my ankles and do not bunch up. They are warm and dry, but not to hot to wear during warm weather, they wick away moisture well. I have had rubbing and blister issues with some other brands of socks, but not with these, they fit so well I did not even think about my socks or feet all day. I am on my feet for hours every day and go through socks quickly, but these seem to be holding up well, they still appear new after 10 washes.

Cold Weather Sock
November 22, 2013

From: Northern Colorado Age: 35-44 Gender: Male
The sock overall is very good. The quality is as expected by the Carhartt name. My only critique would be make sure you have ample room in the boot you plan to wear these socks in; the whole foot is fairly thick and may take up too much room.
