Best pants ever made
September 4, 2016

From: Pittsburgh, PA Age: 35-44 Gender: Male
I work in remodeling and have worked on sailboats - these pants are made from a heavier weight denim than normal Carhartts and last a long time. They are very stiff when you first get them but wear in like a good pair of boots. Friends have said they get faster break-in by putting them on and getting in a full, warm water bathtub and stretching in them. Never tried it myself, just wore them for a long time. They last longer if you wash them infrequently. Cut is fantastic, pockets are perfect sizes and easy to access with large hands. Only minor complaint is that the suspender buttons can dig in to your belt line if you wear a toolbelt over them for extended periods of time. Otherwise these pants are my go-to, and I would wear them year round if summers weren't so hot.

July 24, 2016

From: PA Age: 35-44 Gender: Male
This is the second time that I have purchased these style of jeans. The first time that I brought these I work them on and off for two and a half yrs before they wore out. They are a little on the hot side in weather 80+ degrees.

Everlasting jeans
June 6, 2016

From: France Age: 55-65 Gender: Male
These jeans are absolutely amazing. The material is very strong and the jeans are very comfortable. They are lasting and lasting and seem to be almost indestructible. Certainly the best jeans I ever had.

Used to wear really well, now they dont
February 8, 2016

From: Age: 55-64 Gender: Male
Been wearing them for years. Last couple of years the durability has gone downhill. Double pocket layers don't last. They are wearing out long before they fade even a little.

Short lifespan
January 28, 2016

From: Age: 25-34 Gender: Male
I have bought 6 pair of these without suspender buttons in the last year, all are ripping out at the back pocket corners. At first I thought it was just because of my wallet, but they started doing it on my other pocket that I don't put anything in. I started buying these a few years ago and quality seems to be going down hill

Quality of denim has become weak and tears easy.
January 25, 2016

From: Age: 35-44 Gender: Male
As a contractor I have been buying carhartt products for years. The quality of the denim on the loggers has become poor. The last five pairs I have bought have ripped either the crotch out or along the back pocket. A pair would last a year now I'm lucky to get three to four uses out of them. When it comes to getting what you pay for it is not true in this case. I've bought cheaper versions and they are lasting a lot longer then Carhartt.

January 13, 2016

From: Age: 55-64 Gender: Male
I am not a small man. For years I have worn Carhartt. Recently I went to the store to get more of my faverite pants, to my surprise you stopped making them in my size. 46 waist, as I remembered I had to get them hemmed to fit my short legs. Now that they aren't even available at all. I am left with no recourse but to go to the competition. I am saddened by all this as my father also wore Carhartt. Thank you for the many years of great cloths. Todd Klaviter The Dalles Oregon

Not very durable
January 8, 2016

From: Age: 25-34 Gender: Male
I've bought double knee logger jeans for over ten years now and have only just started having issues with them. I bought a pair three months ago that had the whole crotch rip out and another pair just over a month and a half ago that is starting to tear in two spots by the crotch and the pocket just ripped as I was pulling my wallet out of it. I really hope that this isn't going to be the normal standard or I will have to switch to a more durable pair.
