The quality isn't what it used to be
December 26, 2016

From: Ohio Age: 35-44 Gender: Male
It used to be that I could get years of normal wear out of these jeans. I normally wear them to and from work and on the weekends. The last 4 pair I've bought over the past couple of years don't hold up like they used to. Mainly tear-out of the back pockets. The stitching remains intact but the denim tears out of the pants. My other complaint is that the fit seems to be inconsistent, especially in the waist. I really like the look of the jeans and the price is fair. I wish the quality was as good as it used to be.

Best work jean ever.
December 17, 2016

From: Grand Ledge, MI Age: 65+ Gender: Male
I have been wearing this model jean for 20 years. As a builder they have held up to the rigers of the job. Pockets are big and deep and plentiful. The proper number of belt loops properly placed. Anybody would like these jeans.

No Substitute for work pants
July 7, 2016

From: Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada Age: 45-54 Gender: Male
These pants are the perfect weight. They're durable. They're very comfortable in the crotch and upper thigh area. The leg openings to accommodate work boots is also fantastic. They sit very nicely on the waist area I won't wear any other work pants! Most comfortable pants I've ever worn at work. My wife's only complaint, is that they tend to fade quickly after several washings.... I couldn't care less about the fading aspect, however, it seems to be an issue with the Mrs.

My dad likes these jeans.
July 1, 2016

From: Kansas Age: 55-65 Gender: Female
Dad is 84 and has worn the same style of work jeans since I can ever remember. These take the beating from his farm work and he likes them. Mom can find enough good material to patch the worn spots. I bought him a couple pairs for Father's Day because he lost one pair as the EMT's had to cut them off after an ATV accident. While recovering at home, he is in his jeans everyday!

These are the only jeans my hubby will wear as they fit perfectly and hold up unbelievably well (he works construction). I was quite pleased to find them at such a good price at Dungarees and the service was great...I'll definitely be back!

What has changed?
February 12, 2016

From: Age: 35-44 Gender: Male
I am a heavy equipment operator and have wore carhartt B137 and B237 pants for years. I'm still wearing some of my 137's today. They have held up like no other through the years. What did you change? In the last year I had bought 4 pair of 237's, right off I noticed the brown pockets. I made sure I was buying the same pant that I have for years. Numbers match but quality sure doesn't!!!! As I see in other posts people are noticing the back pockets are ripping. I now have a lot of dollars wrapped up in pants that have fallen apart. The only reason that I pay extra for your clothes is they have been proven to last. I've worn your products for over 30 years and for the first time I'm considering other brands. It's very disappointing to see the quality of what I've considered the best product go down the drain.

quality is horrible
February 11, 2016

From: Age: 35-44 Gender: Male
have always used this style of Carhartt pants and they've always lasted for 2 or 3 years the last three pair I had bought tour at the corners by the pockets on the back. And the crotch is ripped out of all of them seems like their quality has gone downhill don't know if I will buy again but it wasn't my last for a six month period or so if you're lucky

I ordered 3 pairs of these pants right after Christmas. When they arrived at my house I was more than pleased to see that Carhartt has gone back to the old style white pocket material. Time will tell if these hold up as well as the old pants. I know the pants I had with the brown material were junk!
