Rated 5 out of 5 by InspectorBill First work pant. Final work pant.
I've tried quite a few brands and products within the last two years and these are the pants I finally settled on. I'm a home inspector and it means I need to look nice for the clients but also not have to worry about my clothing getting dirty and roughed up. But I'm also short and have thick legs. This presents a problem in most pants because either they are short enough but too snug or they are comfortable but too long. Sure, I could get them hemmed but I've never had a good experience with a hem so far. But these are the only Carhartt (and various other brands) that are available in the 28" inseam. That is a gamechanger for me because they fit perfectly right out of the box.
There are short people out there. I don't know why more companies offer all ranges but rarely hit the 28" inseam. I'd love to explore the other Carhartt products and have confidence out of the box that they will fit without having to worry if a hem will turn out right. These are relaxed enough to fit me (granted, a size or two up in waist) and they wear really well multiple times per week without having to constantly be washed.

Have been buying these past three years; wears well, comfortable, holds up great; just need to replace yearly from color fade through the washing every week, and they still seem to look OK until next to a new pair, so I just get a couple more and keep rolling on...

Rated 5 out of 5 by Woody GREAT, but if you're a real worker ......
The pants fit great, wear great and last so long you'll forget you got em'. If your really working in these though; after my phone, walkie, pocket square and smokes I've got no room left for my knife. Carhartt has to put a utility pocket on that right pants leg. I want to keep purchasing this style pant but they've got to stay competitive. I've had to buy a bout 4 pairs of dickies for my days on call during the winter just because of this dilemma. Please Carhartt listen to this recommendation as I am clearly not the only pleased and loyal consumer who would like to see the great pants become the perfect year-round utility pant.
Thanks for the great products and to all you folks on the fence about these pants, order a pair or three --
I promise you won't regret it!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Roadster Excellent work pants at a great price.
I've worn chinos to work for years and these are a great alternative to more expensive pants. I live the fit and look. They are wrinkle free and built to last.

I like them, I only ordered 2 pairs, and I've had them for3 moths and one pair has holes in the knees. I deliver bread and I think i've given them more wear than usual.

These pants hold up very well. The end of the pant's legs do not fray over time, and they still look good wash after wash. They are practical and look nicer than jeans, which for my job is a must. I do physical work, but also must look professional when dealing with clients - these pants fit the bill.

I have to wear khaki pants for work and these are great. When you get them they are stiff as a board, but they don't wear stiff. Super water repellant and they feel like true Carhartts, very comfortable. The length does run a size too big so If you regularly wear a size 32 in length I would order a size 30. Great pants and I love them!!!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by DJB1 Tough but comfortable
I bought 3 pairs of these about 5 years ago when they were first released and I have worn them everyday at my job as a field mechanic for a construction equipment dealership. They're the toughest AND the most comfortable pants I have ever owned. I purchase and wear these even though uniform pants are provided because these are far more comfortable, look better, fit better and last longer. They still look good even after years of use and I have not ripped a single stitch or belt loop. They are relaxed fit which is what I prefer, yet they somehow look more slim on the body than Dickies pants. They fit well over work boots, unlike Dickies pants where the leg holes are tight and bunch up around the top of your boots every time you crouch, stand-up, or get out of a vehicle. I am beyond impressed and I'm pretty sure I've found the brand I will buy for the rest of my life.
