I Love These Shorts!
I actually bought a pair of these cargo shorts at a local farm supply store and therefore was able to try them on and check the waist size, length, and comfort before buying. Usually I almost always buy pants, jeans, and slacks in a waist size 34, but cargo shorts, no matter the brand, always run large on waist size. I like to wear my shorts without a belt most of the time, and they always go sliding down my hips after working a little while if the waist is too large. I had to buy a waist size 33 in these Carhartt shorts. I'm 5'-6" tall, and the length hits just a little below the knee. The 100% cotton material is very comfortable, and all the pockets come in handy. There's very little shrinkage after washing as well.
After purchasing the first pair locally, I went looking around online for more. That's how I found Dungarees.net. They had a better price, and the shipping was free for purchasing 4 pairs. I would definitely recommend anyone buying these shorts, and highly recommend Dungarees.net as the place to get them.
P.S. I also recommend the Carhartt V26 Vest & J141 Coat.

Love these shorts. Cell phone fits snugly into the pocket. Are very comfortable. Would like them to come in black though. That way they would not show grease and oil.

Great all around shorts!
Reading other reviews for these shorts was helpful. We too strongly suggest ordering one size larger than normal; these shorts do indeed fit a little tight in the seat. I bought these shorts for my husband and they fit well and look very nice on him. He has them in all 3 colors. My husband couldn't say enough good things about these shorts when I got them for him and they look good, too. Sturdy construction, ample pockets, comfort and wash well - highly recommend them.
More color choices would be appreciated!

Awesome value, would buy over other famous maker brands!
The pockets and length of the shorts are exactly what I was looking for in a pair of shorts. Also the durability that comes along with the Carhartt name in clothing is unsurpassed. I will be buying more of these shorts for work and play. Wish they were made in children's sizes.

tough, comfortable shorts
The Carhartt ripstop material is very sturdy while maintaining comfort. I could tell has soon as I put them on that they would stand up to much more punishment than the other brands I have tried in the past. Plenty of side pockets, love the cordura lining.
I recommend ordering at least one size larger than normal; these shorts fit a little tight in the seat.

Great pair of shorts if one has a small 32" waist
I ended up returning these shorts because they were a very tight fit. Lots of pockets and good looks. I especially liked the snap closures on the pockets.

poor pocket placement
these could be decent shorts but they put all the pockets in the wrong place. nobody wants their cell phone right on your knee cap and nobodys cell phone can fit in that pocket. The top pockets are cut to low which makes the pockets a lot smaller. I like the idea of a rip stop reinforced pocket for your tape measure but again its to low. It needs to be up closer to your waist so its not flopping around when you walk .
