Better than average
August 12, 2016

From: Perryville, MO Age: 35-44 Gender: Male
These pants are a bit heavy for summer but perfect for winter. You will never wear the knee out of these. They fit well & have deep pockets. The only complaint i have about them is that they always wear holes right around the top of the rear pockets, as do most jeans.

I love the double knees
May 24, 2016

From: Skowhegan, Maine Age: 25-34 Gender: Male
I love the double knees in these jeans. The only thing about them I would change is the rivets between the legs. When I ride my Harley it puts scratches on the gas tank. I am going to try to remove the rivets and see what happens. But beside that the fit is great. I have larger thighs and these pants are a great fit. Love them.

Yes, I recommend this product.

My husband has been a Carhartt fan forever. 6 years ago, he started wearing the B73s as his only work pants. They are his favorite. As a contractor, he uses every pocket. They used to be made very well. However, the last 12 we've purchased only make it about a handful of wears before the crotch area rips or the back pocket tears or a hole suddenly appears at the back pockets while the rest of the pants still look new. I wish I knew how to patch jeans (I have to pay to have them fixed)! & more importantly, I wish Carhartt would go back to making quality work pants.

I have bought 6 B73 within the last 8 months and all but 2 have ripped at the crotch. I wasn't doing anything strenuous but kneeling down or taking a knee

A bit disapointed
February 29, 2016

From: Age: 55-64 Gender: Male
I bought my first 3 pair of b73's in 2014 and was quite happy with them . Then I was at work and put my left hand in my left pocket for something and the corner of the pocket ripped away from the pants. Needless to say I was a bit disappointed. I thought maybe it was just a bad pair of pants and blew it off. Then I bought another 3 pair in 2015 and just a couple of months of having them the same thing happened to them. I thought ok this isn't normal, just a little stress on the pocket makes it tear... umm.. I like the pants and the fact that they are made in the USA but I am thinking now about shopping for another brand. it seems to be a very weak point right where the rivot on the pocket and the pants meet. Just my opinion... Also I own the bibs and jackets which are great...

What happen to the quality?
February 23, 2016

From: Age: 35-44 Gender: Male
I have worn Carhartt jeans for the last 20+ years and it seems that the quality of the denim has declined significantly lately. I bought 2 pairs of the pre washed double front logger dungaree in November 2015, with in three months (February 2016) both pairs have ripped out in the crotch. The pants otherwise are in near new condition. It is truly upsetting because I usually have no problem spending the extra money on a quality product, but in this case I feel I payed an exuberant amount of money for an inferior product. I do work construction and my pants do receive some use and abuse at times, but if all that I do is kneel on one knee and the crotch rips in the same spot in the same manner I am lead to believe it is a quality issue not a normal ware and tear issue.

With every pair purchased.....more disapointment
February 23, 2016

From: Age: 35-44 Gender: Male
I have been a Carhartt customer since the 90's. I've owned and wore out countless coveralls, coats, sweatshirts, and jeans. Lately, it seems, the jeans do not last at all. My style of choice, the B73 DST logger style jeans, simply do not hold up like they used to. Never mind the inconsistency in the product i.e. disproportional legs and leg openings. I would feel free to show your once great company how many Carhartt products I have purchased to emphasize my until now devotion to your company. As of now I would like some answers to why after over 30 pairs of jeans, I cant get them to last anymore. Forget the fact that no two pairs are the same.
