Gear up for the cold with our duck traditional coat featuring a nylon lining quilted to arctic-weight polyester insulation.

•  12-ounce, firm-hand, 100%-cotton Duck with plied yarns
•  Water-repellent (re-treat after washing)
•  100%-nylon quilted to polyester Arctic weight lining
•  Corduroy top collar with snaps under collar for optional hood
•  Zipper front has wind flap with Velcro™ closure
•  Two extra-large front pockets and two chest pockets with Velcro™ flap closure
•  Inside waist drawcord adjustment
•  Other features: Triple stitched main seams, split back with bi-swing,
•  pleated elbow, rib-knit storm cuff in sleeve

Heavy duty This coat is exactly what one would expect from Carhartt. It is very rugged, windproof, and warm in extreme cold. While a bit heavy, it is comfortably cut and lined. A small complaint is concerns the use of hook and loop on the storm flap. The bottom one does not close the flap flat. A coat of this weight and ruggedness deserves brass snaps on the closure. I never worry about going out in NNY winter snows wearing this coat. It will probably outlast me. Carharrt is the official clothing of the great Northwoods. March 8, 2011
Solid Winter Coat I just replaced my last one, which lasted me eight years of constant use in the winter. The old one is still warm but getting a little ragged around the edges... March 7, 2011
