Rated 5 out of 5 by GREAT EXPERIENCE !!!! I had a great experience with Dungarees, from ordering to receiving my coat everything went great. They had the coat I wanted in stock and shipped it right away. The shipping company took longer than it was estimated. Dungarees was kind enough to refund the express shipping I paid for. When the coat came it was exactly what I wanted and I love it. I will buy from again,I highly recommend. Thx January 1, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Appalachian Winters I bought this style jacket with hood about 20? years ago from a store that carried a great line of Carhartt wear in Newland NC. Winters can be cold, snowy and damp in the Appalachians, I would take this jacket to Pluto. Awesome construction with a heavy duty zipper. I've 'grown' since then and plan to find a larger size of the same jacket, even with years of woods work and many memorable winter seasons it still looks great with no frays, tears or breaks. Thanks! Carhartt. December 24, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best coat I've ever bought! Yes this jacket is very windproof, yes this jacket is very water repellent, yes the durability of this jacket is excellent, yes this jacket is very warm. I love this jacket, I love the fact that it has a dual zipper. you can zip it from the bottom up and also there's a second zipper so you can pull up from the bottom and open it up so it makes it a lot more comfortable to wear the jacket while sitting at the same time. It's not winter yet but I have worn it outside when I've considered it cold and it's kept me very warm, I really bought it for ice fishing, if I have any complaints I will update my review. Rated 5 out of 5 by Important piece of the puzzel This is a great compliment to the Paxton Hooded ZIP Mock Pullover. Sometimes I need a Neck Gaiter on the cold South Dakota plains, but that's to keep even more snow out. Combo this C55 with a DECENT base layer and the Paxton & you will be burning up. July 7, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best winter coat for Great Lakes sailors! The Carhartt Arctic outwear is the only thing that allows me to be warm during the harsh Great lakes winters while working in freezing temperatures and water spraying and freezing to the coat. I have had these coats covered in ice and or soaking wet on the outside while I stayed warm on the inside. I layer with tight knit polyester as a base layer then the Carhartt Arctic as an outer layer and I can handle any weather down to -30 degrees with wind. These coats also last over 8 years before repetitive working conditions finally wear through the heavy outer fabric and I still remain warm even with holes in the outer layers of the sleeves. The holes are from my abuse to the clothing not a manufacturing defect. These coats are bomb proof and a must for anyone facing cold harsh winters. I'm also a native Floridian meaning that I get cold when the weather drops below 70 degrees and this clothing allows me so survive the winters in warmth. Just dress with good thermals and and get the Arctic bibs to cover your lower half so you stay warm when it drops below 20 degrees. April 1, 2015
