Excellent Quality Second coat for my grandson. Outgrew first one, it didn't wear out, which is unusual for an active boy. Requested one of the same, just changed colors. Runs a little large, which is very good for a growing boy. Quality products usually run a little large. Excellent buy. Will continue to purchase and recommend. December 30, 2012
Excellent Winter Jacket I bought this for my 7 year old. Because some of the reviews said the jacket runs large, I got a size 6 and it fits perfect. It is a pretty tough and heavy jacket. Excellent for cold days. The only complaint I have with all Carhartt jackets, is that I find the neck area is low. So I need to make sure my little one wears either a scarf or a high neck sweater to protect his neck. December 6, 2012
Love this jacket! I bought this for two of my grandsons, ages 6 and 8, for Christmas. This jacket is soft and warm, yet tough enough for little guys that sled, skate, and snowball fight their way through winter. The kids love them because they're just like Daddy in their Carharrts. Great jacket for a boy who lives in the mountains Bought this jacket for my son we live at an elevation of 4,200ft so it gets pretty cold here in the winter, this jacket was just what we needed. Nice coat... ... but Carhartt is inconsistant with youth sizing on coats. Coat is very durable & perfect for any rough and tumble boy!!! My son has never complained he was cold since we made this purchase. February 22, 2012
These coats are a great buy for the warmth and quality. I bought these coats for a seven year old boy and a 10 year old boy three months ago. It took me awhile to figure out the sizes that I needed. However, the size chart was very helpful. If you go by the size and the weight on the chart it seems to work out pretty good. I also did consider the size shirts that they were wearing at the time. This coat is very warm and seems to be good quality. The only thing that suprized me about the coat is that there was no draw strings on the hood. However, I found that if I make my boys put a stocking cap on their heads first and then put their hoods up the hood stays on really good. My oldest son is really hard on his clothes and the only wear spots on his coat is at the bottom of his sleeves around the wrists. February 15, 2012
