My Carhartt Collection Is Now Complete
I have almost every 'Classic' Carhartt Jacket/Coat ever made , and this Jacket here leads the pack . (well maybe 2nd or 3rd). My favorite is still the Carhartt Barn Chore C01 . (this J001 is like the same kind of jacket only waist length). Both have that Traditional Duck shell and classic Blanket lining . I love my C01 when I'm out riding horses or cleaning the barn . (hah-barn chore coat). And I like wearing this J001 when I'm doing basic errands. (taking kids to school, shopping at Home Depot (I've received a lot of compliments there), and just about doing ordinary things. The C01 and J001 are great for that 'not too cold' days . For the winter cold days/nights I love to wear my C26 dark brown (going out), or my old classic C03 carhartt brown (riding/working) coat . -- As you can see , I loooovvvvee wearing my Carhartt all year round ! And don't get me started on the Jeans, work pants , winter lined work pants , overalls , t-shirts , flannels , flannel jackets , henleys etc.etc.etc. (YES-I own all those too)!! I am the Carhartt Junkie !!! --- Dungarees has been the absolute best!!! I will continue to let people know about you for as long as I live . You have been AWESOME!! ---I Only wish that Carhartt started making more clothes back in the U.S.A. !! -- Hope this helps .

I use this jacket for a variety of farm and other outdoor activities. Tough and comfortable without bulk.

New Carhartt Detroit jacket Brn J001 XL
These jackets are tough as nails and in my case last longer than the fit I had a J97 that I outgrew so had to go from large to extra large. I think these jackets run large before washing but seem to fit about right after a few washings. If anything they may run slightly small after washing. I have tried on a 42 and it is smaller than the large as it probably should be. I am trying to avoid outgrowing the XL I just purchased. If you need a tough, warm jacket in mild cold weather this is the one.

This is a great product
I was so happy to fine the this jacket on your web site. This jacket was for my son, he has worn this same style of Carhartt jacket for years and I was unable to find it in our town of Prince George BC Canada or Vancouver Canada, all the jackets I found has quilted or shera lining which is to warm for him working, also most of the jackets seem now to have hoodies or hoods attached which are no good to him, when he is welding high in he air hanging every which way the hoods could get in his way or he could get drip off from he welding rod in the hood. We are a very happy Carhartt customer and hoping that this style is not discontinued.

Warm, high quality, and would recommend to others.
Received for Christmas, have only worn a few times, but seems wind resistant, and warm in 14 degrees with a sweatshirt.

Great coat
I purchased this coat for my husband for Christmas. He is a very hard person to please. He absolutely loves it. He said he has had many compliments from people at work. I am very glad I was able to get a great gift for him.

Excellent product.
Quality of the product is outstanding. Hope this jacket holds up as well as my last which is 15+ years. Old jacket is worn and faded but still serves its purpose. recommend this jacket highly.
