Carhart brings a smile to my guys face
January 19, 2016

From: Northwest, Pa Age: 35-44 Gender: Male
I bought this as a gift for my husband. He has owned 2 other Carhart jackets in the past, 1 blanket lined and 1 quilted. We live in Northwest Pa where temps get down to single digits and below and my husband has complained that the quilted is just to warm and cozy for his liking. He uses his old jackets when snow plowing and working on the trucks, so I bought this one in black for him to wear to work. He wears dress pants and a button down shirt to work every day, but refuses to get a dress coat. So I thought the black was slightly more dressy looking that the traditional brown and I was right. This jacket looks great with his work clothes and also works great for everyday use. My husband is 6'6" and weighs about 275lbs. I ordered the 2Xl Tall and it seems to fit him just fine. If he weren't so tall the regular 1XL would fit, but because he is tall, I went a size larger.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Wish they had the tailored sizes
November 20, 2015

From: Age: 35-44 Gender: Male
I too miss the tailored sizes. Now I'm between sizes. I just had to replace my coat. Quality is on par with my old coat. I still love the coat but without the tailored size its not the same. Carhartt, I know why you went this route but please being back the tailored sizes. Please!

Tailored Size is Gone but still a great product.
October 26, 2015

From: Krugerville, TX Age: 25-34 Gender: Male
As another reviewer recently posted Carhartt seems to have moved away from the tailored sizing that they offered, thus the products don't fit as well but are still of excellent quality. Over the years I've worn everything between a 40 Long to a 48 Long. Recently I've lost a lot of weight and went looking to replace my now very large 48 Long jacket. The first thing I have noticed is that it is near impossible to find this traditional style in stores (North Central Texas) and they of course have done away with the tailored sizes. At this time I would say I am probably a Medium Tall but that coat does not exist, a Large Tall is a little big. I am dissapointed by the new sizing, but once I can find one that fits I will still buy it. One of my favorite things about this traditional coat was the fact that they don't need hangers when new. Just set them on the floor and they will stand up under their own starch level. Very practical.

Still a great product
February 13, 2015

From: Elko,Nevada Age: 55-65 Gender: Male
Was on the large side but after washing fit great. As with all Carhartt work gear is stiff in the beginning but softens and becomes more comfortable with use. Expect to get many years of use from this product as I have with the ones purchased before.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Phenomenal Product
February 10, 2015

From: Virginia Age: 25-34 Gender: Male
Phenomenal Product. Highly recommend! Great for winter wear when the temperatures are below 45 degrees. Does get a little too warm when outside temp is above 45 degrees, but not unbearable. Top quality product, although I do recommend a water repellent treatment as soon as the product arrives because the duck canvas material tends to soak up water instead of repel it.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Durable and warm
January 31, 2015

From: Philadelphia, PA Age: 35-44 Gender: Male
I finally had to replace my coat after 18 years, only because my wife complained that the old one looked worn out. I prefer to say that it was finally broken in. Anyway, this was the newer version. Very warm, very comfortable, and the new interior pockets are a nice feature. I should be prepared for almost another 2 decades of winters

Yes, I recommend this product.
