I like it to an extent, I'm comparing J133 vs J140
December 6, 2016

From: Denver, CO Age: 20-24 Gender: Male
I have both the J133 and the J140 jackets. I personally like the J140 style better and here's my reasoning.. -I like that the J140 is flannel lined vs the quilt lining on the J133 style because the flannel lining never gets cold and the quilt lining does. - on the J133 style when it's very cold outside it's very stiff and it sounds like a waterproof tarp when you try and move in it. Vs the J140 style is not like that. -I do give it the upper hand on how the water resistant it is. Don't get me wrong, it is durable, but it's not as comfortable when it's very cold and it's harder to move in it. The quality of the materials is great. Mine has never ripped. It's a great jacket, but I personally like my J140 more

I wear this in the freezer at work. Other employees have gone through multiple jackets since I started wearing my Carhart and they complain about the cold. .

Great product. Extremely warm. Due to the quality of the materials, they are stiff and need to be worked in.

Horrible Fit
March 26, 2016

From: Age: 25-34 Gender: Male
Lemme start by saying that I grew up in a blue collar family in Detroit. I love Carhartt products. Bought this coat to withstand the frigid temps of Duluth, MN. This is the absolute worst tailored jacket I've ever tried on. Im 6ft tall, 170 lbs, bought the large. The bottom of the jacket didnt even come down to my waist, sleves were too short, and the jacket puffed out around the belly and chest making me look like the Michelin Man. Honestly, no exxageration this coat seems like it's tailored for a 5'5" 300lb man.

So far best jacket then all previous extreme jackets for -15 degree weather. Just a little bit to stiff when new but once wash 2-3 times with softner it gets softer.
