My husband got me one of these jackets for Christmas one year. I really liked it and he did as well so the following Christmas I got one for him. Last Christmas we went to TX to visit family and his jacket was stolen out of our truck. I got him a replacement for his birthday. We really like these jackets because they are nice looking, water repellent - on the rare occasions it does rain -, warm w/ an over size hood - nice in the wind - and fit true to their sizing.

Great all around farm coat
November 3, 2016

From: Brookfield, NY Age: 55-64 Gender: Male
Looking to buy my third Carhartt coat. The other ones are getting frayed after many years of winter farm work. In my area it can get down to minus 30, I found this coat works great ,even in below zero temps, over a heavy hooded sweat shirt and Carhartt's quilted bib overalls. When it's warmer I just wear the coat. Well worth the cost...

Very well made. Fits well, a bit snug around the mid section but provides a closeness that does not feel bulky and awkward like most work jackets. Inner cuff on sleeve is very comfortable and provides a good look as well as functionality.

Changes :(
April 7, 2016

From: Age: 20-24 Gender: Male
I own three of these jackets and i love them. But it seems the quality in the newet one is not up to par with the older coats. Zipper seems cheaper, pockets are smaller, sherpa lining is different. Needs to be changed back to the original design thanks

Perfect for midwestern winters.
March 19, 2016

From: Central Indiana Age: 25-34 Gender: Male
I've used this coat through two winters now, and I couldn't be happier with it! The sherpa lining keeps the heat in well and is very comfortable. The hood is sized and shaped well and does a great job keeping the wind and rain out in open farm country. It has plenty of pockets, exactly where you need them. I really like the "tapered" fit, gives you room to move around freely and still keep the cold out. I have a 33" waist, and the Medium is a perfect fit, can even fit a hoodie under it comfortably if needed for extended periods in temps near zero. The light brown color blends in well with tree bark and dead foliage, ideal for the outdoorsman. This is the best coat I've found for outdoor activities in the cold months, I'll be buying another color here shortly. Money well spent!
