Soaked, first time using it in rain!
September 19, 2016

From: , VT Age: 35-44 Gender: Male
This jacket is just about brand new, never washed and stored in our closet. Wore it to work in the rain today and was completely soaked during my shift. I expect more from Carhartt especially when advertising this jacket for work in a wet environment!!!!!!!!!!! I suggest you look elsewhere if you must depend on your gear to be waterproof while working!

Good jacket bad sizing
August 28, 2016

From: Hudson, NY Age: 18-19 Gender: Male
The jacket quality is very nice but the size is way too large... Carhartt recommended a size xl for a 6'2" 220 lb male which sounds right and I recieved it and it fits like a XXXL

Seems to be a solid overgarment
July 11, 2016

From: Foster, RI Age: 45-54 Gender: Male
This rain shell feels and looks well-made and durable, and fits me well. If I could change anything, I'd make it a little longer, but it fits just as advertised. It is a little heavier than other rain shells I've had, so it may be a bit warmer than I'd like in a summer rain, but I've only worn it once, and not on a very warm day.

Best Rain Jacket EVER
May 30, 2016

From: Colorado@8500' Age: Over 65 Gender: Male
I cannot say enough good things about this jacket that hasn't already been said. It is truly the best rain/all weather jacket I have ever owned. Plenty of pockets, great fit, keeps rain, snow sleet, freezing rain OUT. Great quality workmanship in stitching, zippers, velcro fasteners, draw cords and so on. I use it for fishing, snow removal and as a regular everyday jacket. During the colder months, I use a merino wool 250 midweight base layer which wicks moisture away from my skin. That, along with this jacket keeps me warm and dry. Additionally, I also purchased the Carhartt Shoreline Bib Overall which is the best combination rain wear I have ever used. For size comparison, I am six feet, four inches tall, 40 inch waist and 210 pounds. Size XL Tall in both Shoreline Jacket and Shoreline Bib overalls fit perfectly. Absolutely two of the best products from Carhartt.

I should have bought two, I run a winery in North East Ohio and spend half of my day out doors,.The jacket is perfect in all weather, i would love to see a zip in lining, wool or fleece. the quality of the hood, zip outer pockets, lapping cuffs, zip and snap combo front closures, IT wire runs, cant be beat at any price. i'm proud to be the owner of this product. Quality is Key
March 28, 2016

From: Rocky Point, NY Age: 55-64 Gender: Male
This jacket is high quality material and construction, great look, great design with handy pockets. It is suitable for any person in any field of employment. You do not have to be the outdoor type working person to appreciate this jacket. I also bought the Equator light weight jacket for summer time rain protection - same quality.

Love this jacket
March 4, 2016

From: Age: 25-34 Gender: Male
I love this jacket, especially the sleave cuffs. They're unlike any other rain jacket I've seen, very comfortable, and do an excellent job of keep water from dripping into your pockets. I only wish the hood was attached and hide-away. I would buy it again instantly if they update the hood to hide-away, please do!

Great Jacket, Problem with hood.
February 28, 2016

From: Middletown, NJ Age: 45-54 Gender: Male
This Jacket kept me comfortable during a freezing and windy snowstorm. My main problem is the hood. After that first storm, the bands don't stay tight. I make it snug so the wind and rain doesn't hit my head and two minutes later it loosens and blows off my head. The hood is the main thing you need in a raincoat.
