Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Rain Jacket EVER I cannot say enough good things about this jacket that hasn't already been said. It is truly the best rain/all weather jacket I have ever owned. Plenty of pockets, great fit, keeps rain, snow sleet, freezing rain OUT. Great quality workmanship in stitching, zippers, velcro fasteners, draw cords and so on. I use it for fishing, snow removal and as a regular everyday jacket. During the colder months, I use a merino wool 250 midweight base layer which wicks moisture away from my skin. That, along with this jacket keeps me warm and dry. Additionally, I also purchased the Carhartt Shoreline Bib Overall which is the best combination rain wear I have ever used. For size comparison, I am six feet, four inches tall, 40 inch waist and 210 pounds. Size XL Tall in both Shoreline Jacket and Shoreline Bib overalls fit perfectly. Absolutely two of the best products from Carhartt. May 30, 2016

Rated 5 out of 5 by Quality is Key This jacket is high quality material and construction, great look, great design with handy pockets. It is suitable for any person in any field of employment. You do not have to be the outdoor type working person to appreciate this jacket. I also bought the Equator light weight jacket for summer time rain protection - same quality. March 28, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by great ski jacket I had this jacket for about 6 years. Great jacket to layer under with warmer clothing. I also use it to downhill and at the lake. Useful pockets. I hope they continue this jacket so I can buy a new one if this one ever wears out. Leave the hood as is, fits great when needed. January 26, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great jacket built for layering. This jacket holds up to the elements. I have had it for 6 years, I made the purchase when it was known as a J162 waterproof breathable jacket. The hood design is oversized to fit over hard hats and other head gear because it was built for the working individual. I live in Utah and use it pretty much year around. In the spring and fall it serves as my rain gear and in the winter I layer a fleece jacket under it and it becomes my winter parka. It's my favorite jacket Carhartt has made. January 12, 2016
