My second J175, what does that tell ya.
August 31, 2014

From: New Zealand Age: 35-44 Gender: Male
This jacket is without a doubt a hardcore every day wear essential, this is my second J175, I previously bought one from another online company, a medium which runs a bit on the large side but still looks great and can withstand the rougher weather, I actually prefer the older style. It just feels more rugged with fabric on the zip ends, the lining feels more durable and has a cover flap on the chest pocket. Don't get me wrong, the later model feels great too, this new model has the media port feature which is a neat necessity. I would easily buy another one of these for friends and family. Trust Carhartt always to deliver quality.I will be buying at Dungarees again real soon.

This will be a great jacket for ice and snow removal during those long Pennsylvania winters
July 21, 2014

From: Pennsylvania Age: 45-54 Gender: Male
This jacket looks great and does not restrict your movement. I would recomend any of the carhartt products to anyone that works in the trades. The only down fall that I could say is that this product is not made ibn the USA.

Old vs New
March 28, 2014

From: NYC Age: 35-44 Gender: Male
I purchased a non insulated shoreline jacket maybe 5 years ago so I was able to compare the two side by side. Both are great jackets but the older non insulated version feels like it is made from a slightly heavier nylon fabric. Otherwise sizing is loose but extremely comfortable. I have no other complaints. Anything lower than 60 degrees and this will need to be layered with a hoodie. The price/quality ratio is very good like most Carhartt Outerwear.

Great 3-Season Jacket
February 27, 2014

From: S.W. Michigan Age: 45-54 Gender: Male
Living in Michigan and working outdoors one needs a well insulated jacket. This jacket does a good job, but when the temperature dips below 20 Deg. F. you will be looking for something warmer. I think this jacket will be excellent for all 3-seaons here. Looking forward to usiing it in the spring and fall and also to test it out in the rain. The fit runs a bit large in the waist line / stomach area - good if your a beer drinker I guess. All in all a nicely made jacket with good features.

Best Coat Ever Made
February 7, 2014

From: The Hague, the Netherlands Age: 35-44 Gender: Male
I'm not kidding. This is the best coat ever made. I've tried a lot of coats and this one takes the cake. And I'm talking about good cake too. I have one of the insulated ones and one of the regular ones and it is all I need for living in a rainy, windy cold place. I switched to the insulated version when the temp hit about 40 and I have never hosted even the tinyest shiver while outside in the cold rain and wind. I like the other standard Carhartt coats too but this one is a bit longer which is great in the rain. Waterproof. Breatheable. Glorious.

TOP NOTCH! Do everything great coat!
March 12, 2012

From: La Porte, Indiana Age: 35-44 Gender: Male
I have been a long time Carhartt fan as I have worked on a farm. I had several brown Carhartt canvas style coats and bibs in the past. As this coat is a very different style from Carhartt I was a bit nervous but decided to give it a try. I have never been excited about a coat! This is however the best coat I have ever worn. I used it 10 degree weather plowing the drive way and then most recently during 50 degree days. I never sweat in the coat and it is very versatile and truly BREATHABLE. This is a do-everything-well coat. I only hope for better color selection in the future. TOP NOTCH!

Great coat for rain and snow
February 24, 2012

From: Chicago, IL Age: 25-34 Gender: Male
Great coat for working out in the rain, snow, or just cold weather. Nice seal at the wrist to keep out moisture. Warm enough for most winter conditions. Definitely comfortable and great fit. I recommend the tall version for guys taller than 6'1" or 6'2".
