This Jacket is a tank. I was attacked by a bull mastiff in this jacket for at least 5 minutes and where this jacket was I had no cuts or scratches the only thing I had was one bruise from bite pressure. The jacket had no rips or anything and looks new. Plus the jacket is warm in the cold and comfortable in 50 degree weather if you just use the buttons without the zipper.
If you want a comfortable and durable jacket that can withstand anything BUY THIS JACKET!

TOP NOTCH! Do everything great coat!
I have been a long time Carhartt fan as I have worked on a farm. I had several brown Carhartt canvas style coats and bibs in the past. As this coat is a very different style from Carhartt I was a bit nervous but decided to give it a try. I have never been excited about a coat! This is however the best coat I have ever worn. I used it 10 degree weather plowing the drive way and then most recently during 50 degree days. I never sweat in the coat and it is very versatile and truly BREATHABLE. This is a do-everything-well coat. I only hope for better color selection in the future. TOP NOTCH!

Great coat for rain and snow
Great coat for working out in the rain, snow, or just cold weather. Nice seal at the wrist to keep out moisture. Warm enough for most winter conditions. Definitely comfortable and great fit. I recommend the tall version for guys taller than 6'1" or 6'2".

Warm & waterproof
Great jacket waterproof jacket that is warm, waterproof and best of all breathable. It dosent look or wear like a rain jacket. Great purchase!

best all around jacket, I would highly recommend
making the very same model in bibs and gloves for the best all around gear.

Prepared for Anything
This coat is the perfect warm outer shell for daily wear in temperatures above zero or so. For extreme weather the large hood will pull over a warm hat (like a Carhartt Work Cammo 2 in 1 headwear/hat). I wore it turkey hunting in 35 degrees and sleet. I was bone dry and warm. In the spring I plan to zip out the vest and continue to wear the jacket in the rain.
Imagine being completely pleased with the same jacket under all conditions! You will be with this garment.

J175 warm comfortable
I currently work in a cold envirement, inside and I tend to go outside a lot. At times for extended periods of time and some of the work is not very labor intensive so there is a bit of standing around. Seems like in the winter months the wind is very constant also. I was tired of having to doudle wear coats, lots of layers just to keep warm.
I've had the coat for about a month now, temps from 10 to 45 F, sun, wind snow and rain. So far I love this jacket. Its not bulky, very warm but not too warm when temp above 40-45F (haven't had it in warmer weather yet). Water proof. the hood is insulated. overall so far just a great jacket. A little stiff at first. Havent washed it yet will do that this week. May take out some of the stiffness.
I am a very picky shopper when it comes to cloths and jackets (wife hates to shop with me). I was conserned about the price, a little more than what I like to pay for a coat but this jacket is worth it.
