Generally really good
December 12, 2016

From: Philadelphia, PA Age: 20-24 Gender: Male
Not the warmest, but good for mild/moderately chilly temperatures. If you layer it up it's fine for most weathers. Arms do run a tiny bit long but it doesn't ruin the jacket for me. I normally would take a medium but the small fits perfectly.

Good product for the money
November 10, 2016

From: Colorado Age: 55-65 Gender: Male
This jacket runs on the large side of the size range. If you are very long in the arms do not consider a tall. I have very long arms and wear a XXL and usually get a tall if offered, especially if I order on-line but because of other reviewers warning about this jacket running long in the arms I went against my normal tendencies and got the regular and am glad I heeded their advise because a regular is plenty long. Hope this helps, Dennis

Classic Look

Yes, the sleeves run long but that works great for me because I wear a tall. Mine is over a decade old and still looks sharp.

Pretty good.
September 12, 2016

From: Concord, NC Age: 20-24 Gender: Male
I had this before and it was a pretty good jacket, except tht it ripped somewhat easily once when it got caught on part of an air conditioning unit. It left a all snag on the jacket.

Great lightweight work jacket.

Lightweight but still warm. Sleeves are too long for the size jacket. Haven't worn a medium size jacket since middle school.

A good mid-weight jacket
February 25, 2016

From: Age: 55-64 Gender: Male
I purchased this jacket for mid-seasons when the winter coat was too heavy and the golf jacket was too light. The first night I wore this jacket it was 32 degrees with a 20 MPH wind. This jacket kept my torso toasty warm and broke the wind very well. My arms did get just a bit chilly because they are not quilted. The jacket material is heavy duty and looks like it will stand up for a very long time and the jacket is very well made. The only down side is the sizing. I am 6'3" tall and slender. My normal sport coat is 42 Long and I must purchase my shirts in a tall man's store due to the length of my arms, so I purchased a Medium Tall jacket. The jacket fits well in the shoulders, the chest and has a nice snugness across the hips. The only problem is in the sleeves. The sleeves reach way down to my knuckles. That is not a deal breaker, but just be warned, the sleeves are very long. I may have been able to get away with a standard Medium jacket. All in all this jacket is a very good value and Carhartt customer service is second to none. They went out of their way to make sure I got the jacket I wanted.

Strangely long sleeves
January 16, 2016

From: Age: 45-54 Gender: Male
I'll have to return it for a small because the sleeves are so long. I don' wear a small in any other jacket, but looks like I'll have to try it with this one (and hope my gut will still fit). Nice cut, better quality than Red Cap. But this reasonably priced jacket is becoming expensive since Carhartt doesn't cover any postage coming or going on exchanges.
