Rugged. More comfortable than DUCK, the sandstone has a broken-in feeling and movement without having to show some wear before becoming a second-skin (compared to DUCK). Mechanic, carpenter, now rural physician - the coat has been appropriate for all careers.

Second one I've had, hope it's as tough as the first
November 12, 2016

From: Nassau, NY Age: 25-34 Gender: Male
The first one of these lasted 10 years or so and literally rotted off my shoulders. I had forgotten what Carhartt called it but fortunately all their models are numbered so you can get the exact same thing you had. This jacket is great because it is warm enough for most of the winter (if you stay active) but not so bulky as to get in the way or make me overheat. Relatively snug fit but excellence range of motion...after a while it becomes like a second skin. Works well under a tool belt or fall protection harness.

Really good quality for the money
November 7, 2016

From: Eastchester, NY Age: 55-64 Gender: Male
My 17 year old daughter pick this one out off the rack for me. I usually get a large because I have long arms and the loose fit USED TO be in. But my daughter said it looked 'lit' so I bought it in medium. It's a little bit more snug than most of my older coats and jackets but I like the look and the sleeves are as long as most of my 'large' stuff.

I love the look of the jacket and how comfortable it is. I wear this jacket when out in the woods and feel confident it will keep me warm and be durable and I can also wear it into town and look stylish

Classy and rugged!
October 19, 2016

From: Age: 45-54 Gender: Male
Girlfriends/ wives/ whatever: if your looking for a jacket that LOOKS GOOD and can be dressed up but still has the carhartt feel and look- here it is. LOVE IT AND FITS MY BOYFRIEND PERFECTLY. It's important to note: the waist is small and the shoulder/ arm area is bigger. If you don't have a small waist (if you've got a bit extra there) you won't be able to close it. (Obviously you can get a bigger size, but the shoulders may be too big). It's an amazing jacket. Five stars baby!

Best workman's jacket on the market!
September 12, 2016

From: Buffalo, NY Age: 25-34 Gender: Male
Great jacket for working, I'm a mechanic and I have great movement in this doesn't bunch in the stomach when bent over and has no elastic wrist pieces that light up when welding. I literally was my jacket on warm days with a power washer and treat it with camp dry and sheds water great. It's not to warm for the fall and is perfect with a flanel under it in the winter.
