Cold weather must have bibs
April 10, 2016

From: Age: 45-54 Gender: Male
Best ever. I work outside in the Duluth, Minnesota area. Lake Superior winters are no laughing matter. If you don't have the gear you won't make it. These bibs are the gear. I'm a life long Carhart guy.

Winter in the Alaskan Arctic
March 16, 2016

From: Age: 45-54 Gender: Male
consistent outside temps of 25 below F and occasional 40 below F with wind chills exceeding 65 below, these bibs (along with other gear) kept me warm, I was very happy with them. Two things need fixing, the suspender buckles are cheap, and they need to add a little strap at the top to hang them off of a coat hook, I dont' want to stretch the elastic of the suspenders. I have already recommended them to a friend that'll be working the slope the rest of this winter.

3 yrs of total warmth!
March 2, 2016

From: Age: 55-64 Gender: Male
This is my 3rd season for using these bibs,,not once during the coldest times did i get cold, even with using little to any layering of clothes under them.Like all Carhartt products i have, which is alot i have not been let down in there purpose. The only thing i have found is 2 things,1st you dont want to use them for hunting in cold cold weather, like many otherfolks have stated they do "krinkle" when cold, thus letting your pray hear you,,would recomend using either the R02 or 03 for this.2nd thing which i have found a little disappointed in is like others have said ,the straps buckles are cheesy, not what i would expect to be a Carhartt product. Other then the two minor problems i am very happy with these bibs and highly recomend them to anyone who is in the cold areas you should have either these or R02 or 03 "s i do say the are very water proof as compared to the other's i mentioned.

Long in Length
February 18, 2016

From: Chicago Age: 25-34 Gender: Male
These things are extremely long....pretty good quality they're made in Mexico, wish they could of been American made the way Carhartt used to be. That being said they're probably going to be the best artic lined overalls but remember they're long in length to the point that I had to get mine altered because they look ridiculous with how much fabric is bunched up near boot. Ordered 30 inseam and I would say was more like 32-34.

Absolute Worst Purchase Experience!!!
February 12, 2016

From: Age: 25-34 Gender: Male
Honest Review. Bib is extremely stiff. Bibs waistband button is a good 1/4" off center. (cannot button up) Bibs zippers are an absolute piece of garbage. (get caught up way too much, zippers need to be smooth) Bibs shoulder straps are way to long. (at shortest length they do not come in contact with my body) Bib has fibers sticking out at almost every stitch. Buttons on the Bib pant leg(s) come undone way too easy. This Bib way way too big. I purchased a 32W X 30L Bib. I am 5'7" 170lbs. Usually wear a 32W to 34W depending on brand and 30L to 32L. Made in Mexico. I am very disappointed with Carhartt.

Everything is a 5 except one item
February 9, 2016

From: Minneapolis, MN Age: 45-54 Gender: Male
I have owned and loved my Carhartt outerwear for years living in the snowbelt of MN. I have come to appreciate the quality and the durability the extra purchase price brings to the meaning of value. I have always found their fabrics, zippers, claps, and tailoring to be robust. I recently purchased a pair of Extreme quilted lined biberalls and was shocked by the cheesy sheet metal buckle that joins the suspenders to the front of the bibs. What happened to the nice durable and solid claps of the past? The sheet metal buckles are constantly twisting, jamming, and are difficult to manage. I look forward to seeing the buckle of the past on my next purchase. If cheaper biberalls can do it...you can too.

Exceeded my expectations.
February 5, 2016

From: Eugene, OR. Age: 55-65 Gender: Male
Having grown somewhat tired of getting damp, dirty and then cold whilst chaining tires to go over snowy mountain passes I looked for something strong, waterproof and warm. These things might be bullet proof but I'll not be putting my theory to the test. Fit and finish are excellent. They're very warm without making you feel as though you're overheating and they're very comfortable allowing you to wear them for long periods when you don't really need to, like after you've put your chains on and you're driving. Money very well spent.
